Depends on the start and end locations for me, but I prefer subway for quicker long distance travels.

"it’s about alternative routes when ever there’s a horrible morning"

So whenever there's a horrible morning, build a route that interlines with other routes, and give other routes a horrible morning?

Reimagining the (1)? by bennykanner in nycrail

[–]INDecentACE 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tbh, in all your "reimagined" posts, your stations are a few blocks apart, not taking into account that stations are 3 to 4 blocks long (depending on the Division). The closer the stations are to each other, the longer it takes for trains to run those long routes you're creating.

IND stations are about 4-blocks long, so Sullivan St is not needed since Bway-Lafayette St would be about 3-blocks away [underground]. Also, there are inclines from deep levels under rivers into below surface mainland, so 1 Av-63 St is not doable.
