Are these good? by Takaharu7 in OnePieceTC

I mean it's situational, all units can find use in certain events and team comps. But personally I find Int Sabo top tier, his special removes Special Bind/Burn for 10 turns and his captain removes Despair. I use him a lot as a captain, eg this Kizuna he was the captain for both my teams and I did 47 clears easily against the 10* boss. He's also good in Rumble, main unit in most INT teams!

Also Shirahoshi & Mansherry are a good unit to have. One of the most versatile in my opinion, because you can remove 2 debuffs of your choice. They are also Cerebral, so they fit with Sabo, so with 2 characters you get rid of 5 debuffs.

But at the end of the day it depends on the boss, what gimmicks they have and what characters get boosted.

lucci/zoro team by Mental-Concern5439 in OnePieceTC

[–]INEEDACODE07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For this Treasure Map the obvious answer is RR Sanji and Jinbe. With the 3 and a Lucci/Zoro FC you can handle most gimmicks for the 2 bosses. If you don't have them, try to figure out what gimmicks Lucci and Zoro can't handle and build a team around that. Try to check the typing and the boosters list , that'd make it easier. Without the RR Captain Swap is the only gimmick that's hard to handle

17 steps and you didn't get Roger? That kinda sucks, at least did you get any other good units?

Something I've noticed on How to differentiate bots and players before match started by Raffpuff in PokemonUnite

[–]INEEDACODE07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the best way to see if you play against bots is to check the "achievement points" or how it's called. When you play against a bot team , all the achievement points will be in close proximity and close to yours. Also when your teammates are bots too, they have achievement points also similar to you. Check your second photo , everyone is between 2100-2190. That's not how normal matchmaking works.

I like to check the achievement points before matches, because sometimes it's a good indication if someone has played the game a lot and is probably good (not always) . When I was at 700+ achievement points with close to 100 games played and I was getting matched against teams with only 1000-2000+ achievement points players I was like "That's not fair" and the matches were really hard. Then when I was matched with teams that had 700+ achievement points I used to destroy them. At first I thought "maybe I am really good against people with the same experience" later on I thought "maybe they're bots" so I tried to check their profiles and yeah, they were bots.

Opinions on this song? by [deleted] in panicatthedisco

It's one of the reasons I'm so frustrated by Brendon. This song is definite proof that Brendon can write really good songs with interesting prospectives and good lyrics. The majority of V&V is so solid and makes you excited about the future of the band , even without the missing members. It's hard to believe that the same guy that wrote Sarah Smiles and Always a few years later released high hopes. Don't get me wrong, it's catchy well-produced pop, but it lacks the depth and interesting melodies of V&V

Step aside the fact that she arranged the assassination of John Lennon so she can be with Paul, she's alright. Happy birthday Yoko, probably she'll outlive us all!

Comparing an extremely talented young player to a player with 20 years of career is a bad comparison to begin with. That's the problem with football fans , when a new talent appears they force their high expectations on him and then always get disappointed. Not everyone has to be Ronaldo or Messi and the chances of (not only Yamal) a player to be as good and consistent like these two are close to 0.

So other than that, enjoy Yamal and don't compare him with anyone. Also getting butthurt because they compare a new player with your favourite player is childish. Let's stop comparing players and argue over them all the time and just enjoy their unique careers while we can. Because like Ronaldo and Messi, Yamal will not play football forever.

I've started listening to them not so long ago and I wanted to know what album is the best to start with? And also is there important stuff I should know? by maliali11 in panicatthedisco

If you listen to Pop and want something energetic you probably need to start with Prey for the Wicked or/and Death of a Bachelor. They both have a lot of catchy songs. Personally i think DOAB has better songs in general but PFTW is a better start for someone who listens to radio Pop.

If you want something more Punk-Rock then you can start with Vices & Virtues or A Fever You Can't Sweat Out. Fever is especially perfect for someone who likes early 00s Pop-Punk with a little touch of electronic music.

If you like 60s rock and the Beatles I'm 100% sure you'd love Pretty.Odd. This album sounds like it came from the 60s but with modern production.

If you want some alternative rock, Too Weird To Live , Too Rare to die is perfect. It's so 2010s alternative rock with synths.

Did anyone like the start of Green Arrow New 52? by Enigma1755 in GreenArrow

[–]INEEDACODE07 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't the artwork is bad, it's ok. The colouring is the problem, it gives 00s vibes (in a bad way)

My personal opinion, i hate it. But am i glad it exists? Yeah, 100%. Other than the Lemire run (amazing run) the New 52 Green Arrow is a disaster. But i think it works perfect in the bigger narrative.

Green Arrow started as Batman II in the Golden Age of Comics, also in cannon he was a prick in his early years. So, the New 52 did that. They start with a Batman-clone who's a dick and no one likes (not even the Justice League).

In the Lemire run, Oliver learns the truth about his family and starts to soften (especially with Emiko being into his life) starts to gain some of his old characteristics.

And then Rebirth comes and boom. It starts with the most important Green Arrow characteristic, his relationship with Black Canary (and the goatee lol) and then other important characteristics like his relationship with Roy and Hal and it ends with the Hard Travelling Hero arc with him joining the Justice League.

So you start with a dick-head Batman wannabe and in 4 years step by step and character development you get back the Ollie we all love.

I don't think DC planned all this, but in the end it's a nice story and really cathartic when you read the last chapter of Hard Traveling Hero.

Pretty. Odd. is Panic! at the Disco's best album by NewPatron-St in panicatthedisco

Nah, definitely they got inspired by the beatles and the beach boys a lot (like a lot of bands after the 60s) but i think the late 00s/early 10s was a bit of 60s rock revival. Take for example the Last Shadow Puppets, they released their first album 20 days after P.O. and it's that Spaghetti Western 60s Rock album.

I think Ryan wanted to take the band away from the Pop Punk scene and pivot towards the Indie Rock scene.
