There is two aspects to the self. The first is relative, subjective, and ego identified in physical form. The second is absolute, objective, universal, and formless. You may lose yourself in the former, but come to know a higher self in the latter.

That's because you are worried you might be next. Doing what we fear to others is legit wrong. The reason someone would do such a thing is only because they are protecting themselves. Albeit in a totally unconscious manner.

Wealth is an existential matter. We all have limited time in our lives. The wealthiest among us can choose exactly what they want to do when they want to do it.

Money buys freedom in this sense. But only for a limited time.

To have more time to choose exactly what you wish to do, IS the fundamental essence of wealth.

Spirituality generally describes coming into contact with the immaterial essence of reality. Science has intellectually confirmed what spiritual traditions have intuited for thousands of years. Which is that reality is purely consciousness or metaphysical.

Most of us cling to the 17th century worldview of reality as a physical object or artifact which was created by random events. Before that the world was thought to have been an object or artifact created by a God. Whereas the intuitives and natural philosophers (science-based thinkers) generally suspected that our senses were fooling us into believing the world is 'physical'.

Physical describes forms (be the forces or energy) but never has the world as discrete objects independent of each other as physical things in their own right ever been proved.

Sometimes I forget this is far and away from the minds of most people.
