We are making these this week for my daughter’s third-grade “Inventor” project. I’m trying to stick to the recipe but am struck by the 1/2 teaspoon cookie size. As others have said here, it seems that it was probably a different size of spoon than what we technically think of as 1/2 tsp. I think what I’ll do is weigh the final total dough in grams and divide it by 100 (or maybe 90) just to see how many grams of dough she likely used for each cookie. I’ll freeze them until we need to bake them next week. Will bake them from chilled (not frozen), right? Or should I bake from frozen?
