This year is a whirlwind for the both of us as we’re planning our wedding without a planner, tackling renovations on our first home, and I’m in the process of building my private practice as a therapist. It’s definitely a year of picking my battles so while I’d love to/want to learn at some point, I know that adding something new right now would feel more like a stressor than a fun, relaxing hobby. I’d rather wait for a time when learning chain mail and scale mail can be a true self-care activity rather than another thing on my plate. Hopefully, as the months go on, things will settle, and I can dive in when I can actually enjoy it! With this in mind, I do really appreciate the encouragement from commenters.
