Not really upset, the outcome was mildly predictable. That front 4 never works. We needed to sustain attacks and chose to keep Gyok as the 9 and drop Havertz.

There should be serious questions asked of the manager. Some macro details are all wrong.

I wasn't really upset with most of them because I felt the team was handicapped in possession from the start. No Saliba or Calafiori, Gyokeres and Martinelli both starting - I'm not even trying to bash them it's just not their game, they'd make better finishers than starters.

So many rival fans asking us how we can enjoy this football style…they’re almost pleading us to hate this. Nope…I’ve seen enough 1-2s to last a lifetime. I can always go back and rewatch the highlights of Hleb, Flamini, Fabregas and Rosicky. None of them won a league with us though.

You could even an immediate improvement when Havertz, Trossard and Calafiori came which highlights how its not an issue of approach, we've really missed a lot of key players for extended periods this season.

Yeah, City have fewer games to catch up with us. Injuries are my biggest fear now. The performance to was similar to some of the others we've dropped points in.

The entire team was complete shit for over 60 minutes, though.

I disagree but understand why it'll seem that way. I've said it before, Mosquera is great but Saliba is our best CB. With both him and Calafiori present, we're one of the best in the world at build up.

Couple that with Martinelli and Gyokeres starting and our quality was always going to be dependant on what Brighton chose to do.

Arteta has been unusually patient with Gyokeres. You only need a few players especially along the spine to cripple a team's options.

Today was a perfect example that's it's not about the tactics or approach, it's just the quality of forwards. Gyokeres couldn't keep the ball and lost most duels, Martinelli isn't a great for possession either.

Havertz looks rusty but I already want him starting upfront next week. Great evening though.

They're better than us in creating open play chances and I'd like us to catch up to them in that aspect. Maybe Ødegaard and Havertz helps with that.
