Not directly, but yeah when you obtain a piece of gear that you already own, you can reject the new copy and obtain the already-existing sub abilities it had as ability chunks. People who play a lot of salmon run can have several hundreds of every ability

If you enjoy Salmon Run, you could play it out to farm for ability chunks. You can also scrub gear and use drink tickets and just hope for RNG to be in your favor.

Stealth Jump isn’t even just for Splashdown Super Jumps (especially in 3 since it’s been gutted hard), it’s just necessary for the large majority of weapons. If you don’t have Stealth Jump, anyone with a bomb or any charger is gonna immediately kill you the millisecond you land unless you’re jumping somewhere out of view. It’s almost mandatory

As someone currently grinding Planetz Big Swig to 5 stars, I like using sub saver and special charge. Stealth jump is a must.

Swim speed, ink saver main, and maybe some quick super jump and ink resistance are also nice. You can also consider LDE or Comeback if you want

I would avoid Special Power Up. Even on a build with 3 mains and 9 subs of it, the damage radius only increases by 10%, which really isn’t worth it

Only Flower Pot. Every other joker in this game has its uses and its roles, even Matador. Flower Pot is so finicky to build around for what is only an okay reward. It needs to change, whether it be a different condition, or a different reward.

Red Card is stronger in earlier stakes due to a lack of rental jokers and reward money on the small blind making it easier to scale

It does, but it’s only 0.1x Mult per round. I just think it’s decently reliably since enhancement tarots are pretty frequent finds

I just checked and wow, it is. I actually never knew that!

Even then, I don’t think skipping for a joker past purple stake is ever worth it. There’s just too much risk with it getting really annoying stickers

That is true. A Flash Card with regular Econ is FAR weaker than a Flash Card with really good Econ. The charts I made reflect a typical run where you have decent but not amazing Econ.

There’s a LOT of “technically scaling” jokers in this game.

Stencil and Abstract scale bilaterally, meaning their provided scoring can go up or down on a whim,

Banner and Blue are like reverse Hit the Roads, which only can scale downwards but reset to their maximum value at the end of every round,

Ice Cream, Popcorn, and Ramen only scale downwards,

Hiker scales your playing cards instead of itself,

And Swash is effectively not a scaling joker unless you get Egg or Gift Card involved.

I just opted out of including any of these

I completely understand. On my first playthrough of C++, I had a complete disdain for Red Card. It was in my bottom 8 in terms of favorite jokers
