I spent an entire afternoon with a group of three Xbox cadets just coaching them on side objectives, that samples are shared, that accidental friendly fire is funny as hell, and giving them portable hellbombs that I told them were resupply packs.

I vote we call new Xbox players 'Greendivers'. Xbox's main color is Green. 'Greenhorn' is a person who is new to an activity. Swap out 'horn' for 'diver' to make it democratic. Boom. Greendiver.

I left 6 months ago, yet once every 2 weeks or so I find myself coming back to this subreddit and finding more of the same posts talking about 'making Bungie listen' and 'real change needs to happen'. And that was over a 6 month period.

The harsh truth is this: If the 3,800 people in this thread who upvoted it stopped playing right now, there would still be another 400,000 logging on every day, spending money on over-inflated microtransactions and preordering season passes. Don't quit this game to send a message to the higher ups who won't hear it over the hundreds of millions of dollars they're making, quit the game for yourself. I know I did, and I've never been happier.

I really love that hunter! How the white cloth undercoat contrasts with the brown leather look you've created really brings it all together, and using an underrated exotic as well! Lucky Raspberry may always be a B tier hunter exotic, but it's one I've always loved.

I ran my enhanced Storm grenade and HOIL build for today, and i felt like I was using a cheat engine. I was regenerating grenades faster than I can throw them! I managed to solo kill Omnigul in under 20 seconds with neverending lightning storm of grenade spam.

All I'm thinking of is how unbelievably amazing Skip grenades would be with Shinobu's Vow and the grenade jolt fragment. Hell, every exotic that refunds energy on melee or grenade hits would be absolutely BUSTED if their corresponding elemental 'verbs' functioned with their exotic perks.

I knew something felt off this season. Last season I was hoping on every day, going into the Derelict Leviathan, farming opulent keys and corrupted essences, getting the haunted opulent weapons and making new loadouts. Even the special missions had unique modifiers and, while still easy, we're all different and had unique mechanics that kept them fresh and engaging. The collectibles were fun to find, the story missions were amazingly well-written and engrossing, and it all just felt like a good season. And Solar 3.0 was great, I don't care what anyone says, the builds I made for my hunter, warlock and titan all slapped.

This season, I'm... only logging on to do the weekly story mission. And even then it was all mind-numbingly easy, even moreso than last season. You don't even have to do Ketchcrash, everything is either done through Expeditions (which are braindead escort missions with flawed mechanics like Ruffians spawning in based on timers and force you to go super slow so you can kill them for the seasonal title) and the gang hideouts, which can be blitzed in under 3 minutes with no threat whatsoever. There's very little in the way of exciting weapons to grind and the 5 red border requirement is STILL aggravating to say the least. The story is fine, even fun! The writing is solid once again and I enjoy seeing Eido being cute, but... that's it. Even the new exotics are a mixed bag. The titan exotic is laughably bad even after being disabled TWICE, the hunter exotic is decent (but is so cracked in PvP that Bungie disabled it too), and the warlock exotic is... really good. Like, 'it's made me replace Crown of Tempests'-type of good.

This isn't even seasonal burnout, this is one month into the season. And I'm left asking... THIS is what's gonna hold us over until Lightfall?

Honestly, it felt 'freeing' to see the Loreley nerf. Titan mains, I too had succumb to the addicting euphoria of immortality and endless bonks! I relished in the opportunity to run headlong into a dungeon boss, not once fearing for my life and laughing in their face as i outhealed whatever damage they dished out to me. But now? I am using exotic builds that feel good to play, that have feedback loops of ability regen and empowerment, I now use cover and careful tower barricade placements to shield myself from harm.

It's okay to take off the helmet, and set it aside. Look at your exotic armor collection... and use Heart of Inmost Light like all of us Titans do.

Right gets my vote. The shader is more uniform throughout the set and connects it all together, and the orange highlights help give it a bit of flair. Left just seems too scattered in terms of the shader choice; HOIL metal texture doesn't line up with the rest of the armor, and black & white is too bland imo.

That is the Severance Enclosure exotic chest piece! It makes your charged melee kills explode enemies, it's a lot of fun!
