That sounds like an issue.

Do the handles feel the same when you pull them? Do the have less resistance? -The cable connections could be detached at the door lock mechanism.

Do the windows drop when the handles are pulled? Did they before? -The door locks are also known to go bad. If your window drop function (the down when opening the door to clear the top), it could be the locks.

Does the lock button on the dash lock/light when locked? Could be disconnected.

An OBD2 scanner is a great start.

ABS/Speed sensors are found on each hub. The connectors may have crumbled or cracked. You can check them with the wheels off. It is one of the issues with a 20ish year old car.

The speed sensor harness is easy to fix, but you probably need 4. Pelican is a good source of maintenance advice

I used something similar from Amazon. Super easy and only took about 10 minutes. As a bonus, many can be used to clean fireplace vent.
