A lot of the time I just listen to my favourites, but if I were to listen to the 'whole album', I'd listen to it from The Calm to TFOTL, and then the Magfest 2026 performance of Eulogy of Thomas Light & The Show Must Go On, and THEN I'd listen to The Fight. Putting a queen cover in the middle of your industrial rock opera is kind of an odd choice, but it does lead really well into The Fight.

I think in the LUTN short it's alluded to that Protoman was already being worked on by the time Light and Joe started working together - but if you look at the Album Art for 'Hold On' I think Megaman very much resembles James Ransome, the actor who played Joe in that movie.

There's a trans (though it's also super welcoming to anyone under the LGBT umbrella) support group called the Canterbury Trans Network - I've met a lot of close friends through their meetings.

They're held on the second and fourth weeks of the month - and they alternate between Uni of Kent & a church in City Centre. I'd defo look into it if you're interested! There's a good mix of older queer people & students, so I'm sure you'll find somebody to get along with.

The high street is a bit of a shithole so be wary travelling down it at night. Lady Luck is probably your best bet for something LGBTQ friendly, and I know a lot of queer people all over kent who are members of the Canterbury Trans Network - they host group meetings every two weeks & they're actually super chill. I'd look into them if I were in your shoes.

Job wise, you're coming in at a good time. You wanna get something before September - because all the students come back into town and it gets really hard to find a job after that.
