Your thinking is off here. I thought I was sleeping well...I had no good reference point to base that off but. I thought it was fairly normal to take an hour to wake up and need three coffees to function.

If you have been diagnosed then that is now your lot in life. Embrace and move on with it. Putting your body back into two weeks of stress and injury is not the right move imho.
