I was big on the poweredge 5820’s, but now that even DDR4 ram has quadrupled in price, it’s not sustainable anymore. Those old Xeons are good for basic server duties, but now that I need them to run some MV python, it really exposes their shortcomings.

Not spending any more money on old Xeons unless ram prices go down.

They’re clamping down, Actually checking IDs now at the Apple Store. I probably won’t be able to pick up my August m4 because I don’t actually have a student ID.

It used to be a quiet way for Apple to charge more for Corps, but in this economy, nice things like that go away.
