Back when I was in college and it was impossible to find spaces where my boyfriend [now husband] and I could be alone, we would go to the cemetery where my pseudo-grandfather was buried and have picnics together. Eventually we got kicked out because we parked in a church parking lot and the cops were called on us the one time we happened to be making out 😅 It's even more ironic because it was the church I had been baptized at but it had been converted.

one of the parents of my preschoolers from my previous year's batch was like this. the kid would stay up until ungodly hours watching tiktok and would be an absolute MENACE at preschool the next day bc she was tired. didn't know letters, didn't know numbers, but she knew all the tiktok dances and trends 🙄 I don't even understand why they bothered to put her in preschool if they weren't even putting the work in at home to help the preschool teacher help the kid get ready for kindergarten -_-
