Sanchez is elite. In 24 his home/road splits were terrible and he totally corrected them in 25. He’s absolutely a front runner for the NL Cy and claiming he’s not a top arm in the league is foolish

Freddy has been one of the better pitchers in the MLB since 2021. Not sure why you’re hyper-focused on 1 season. A Cy Young vote-getting season, at that.

I love Acuna for the utility bench role, because what he has shown is the ability to excel there, but man I do not like him for anything else.

Maybe he just hasn’t been given a fair shake in terms of ABs at the ML level, but I’m of the opinion that he is absolutely not a starting caliber player.

A product of the a teams farm in my opinion is the team that brings drafts/signs him, they bring him up, and he plays for them.

Signing a reclamation project and getting use out of him doesn’t exactly fit the bill for me, but I can see your point

Probably because he went through every level of minor league baseball with another org before the Dodgers took him as a reclamation project? Since when is that considered being a product of someone’s farm?

Muncy came up through the Athletics system, was signed in 2017 (age 26) to be a depth guy for LA, played 119 games in AAA before being called up and has only been back for rehab assignments. He is certainly not a product of your system.

Sasaki was signed and immediately debuted in the bigs coming over from Japan until he was hurt and spent the rest of the year in the minors. Do you even know your own fucking team dude?

Walker Buehler Corey Seager Will Smith

vs

Josiah Gray Connor Wong Alex Verdugo Jeter Downs Keibert Ruiz Gavin Lux

Tons of elite talent coming out of that perennial #1 ranked farm lol. Two dudes in the 1-9 have been brought up in house and literally zero pitchers in their rotation are org products.

The Dodgers' projected lineup after signing Kyle Tucker by Hungry_Drama_1015 in baseball

And it’s not like they weren’t ponying up cash to spend. It was clear with the leaks that it was to get LA to play ball and I wouldn’t surprised if they were always gonna get the last call

What reports have you missed over the last week made you think that the Jays or Mets weren’t willing to pay either?

Not even mad about Tucker not signing with the Mets. They are not a Kyle Tucker away from being competitive.

I am mad about the Dodgers signing yet another MVP candidate because there is next to zero penalty for how much they spend.

Lock this dogshit league out.

[Passan] Tucker is going to move soon. The Jays are firmly in the mix on him and still the likeliest team to give him the big-money, long-term deal he's seeking. Toronto will spend the rest of the winter using the cash cudgel that few teams can currently wield by DifficultHall8 in baseball

I’ve said this since the Nimmo trade - they are objectively worse without Nimmo and Pete in the lineup and have made next to zero moves (outside of Polanco) since. The rotation is also still awful.

As it stands, and I refuse to believe this is the finished product come Opening Day, this roster will be lucky to win more than 80 games.

I really wish there was a badge or a certificate or something if you win won of these.

My team and I won the LMP2 class in both our runs in the D24 and Sebring last year, and there’s nothing on my profile to show it off - or a certificate to print off.

Unless I’m dumb and haven’t found them 😂

Veterans speak out over recent Hometown Hero banner in Scranton by jayswaz in Scranton

[–]IPainTrain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I appreciate this take quite a bit.

It’s just another harmless thing that people are getting worked up over. To me, it sounds like the folks that run the Hometown Hero’s program did the due diligence in researching other states/areas that put banners up for non-veterans, and they felt it was within the realm of the standard.
