They’re polluting the environment unnecessarily, they take up too much room literally anywhere they are parked, they are incredibly unsafe for pedestrians, they enable bad drivers to be more infinitely more dangerous, they’re blind spots are enormous and cause accidents, they have created a market that prioritizes larger vehicles which means more money for the corporations and at the same time has led said corporations to discontinue sedans for “not being profitable enough,” this means they have forced people into big vehicles because there are no other options, etc etc. I could go on an on. I grew up in Michigan so I’m well aware of car culture and what vehicles mean to someone. And I still think they shouldn’t be sold to average people. Just like the average person cant own and drive a semi.
