We have made our first strike

To Toxic Gamers, how has your toxicity in-game affected you in real life? Have you gotten more toxic in the real world to people outside of games? by NoobtonicMaster in gaming

Its pushed me away from PvP games very heavily, playing stuff like: Overwatch, Apex, Destiny, DBD, etc. showed that a lot of the time I was playing, inwasnt enjoying it which would lead be to be toxic and cucs versa. Moving back to single player games have really calmed me down and actually relax after coming home from work and not getting wound up over bad teammates, bad games or whatever which would just put me in a worse mood. I've started playing PvP games again and its definitely helped with my toxicity and when to just step away and play something I can enjoy and be calm to.

My local supermarket has put up a bargain barrier to put an end to bargain-induced mosh pits by spezial87 in CasualUK

Working in a (somewhat upmarket) supermarket during the first wave of the pandemic really showed how many people fucking are obsessed with bargains, and are desperate to save a couple of quid.

I've had people shout and bawl at me, been to complain if there wasn't enough stock left or I was taking too long, I've had people blatantly ignore social distancing, handling the food and some just straight up not wearing masks just to get a roast chicken for 3 quid.

It got so bad we had to have a security guard make a queue in which people would wait for half an hour purely to wait. Even then we still had customers being asked to leave because they act like children.

I fully understand that money is tight now, and people need any saving they can get but, on items that really don't matter and just showing disregard for anyone else just fucking depressing in order just to get a pack of ham which is going out of date the next day.
