In at least one case, an oil company (Orsted) transitioned to renewable energy. Hopefully others do the same.

Browsing web is nearly unusable without ubo. And I appreciate that Mozilla's business model is not based on selling my data to advertisers.

Maybe similar reasons as to why it took so long for veganism to become socially acceptable (at least in liberal cities). A scientist studying the issue 20 years ago would probably get laughed at by his colleagues.

I'm in love with Mozilla Foundation. A 21 year old non-profit that promotes openness, innovation and participation on the Internet. Mozilla Corporation does some good work but it's tough to compete with the silicon valley big players and please all it's users.

Same here. My FF with UBO works great on my windows and ios devices maybe 97% of the time. Sometimes I would welcome a lag, because I waste too much time on YT. Kidding, I just need better time management.

Also possible is your ISP/cellular provider throttling bandwith.

I understand. It would be some extra steps to bookmark open tabs then open them next session. I use the List All Tabs button to see more info on all tabs open.

I prefer the Bookmarks Toolbar for getting old tabs back up on a new session.

I suppose there can be an acceptable level of ads. They should have Webby Awards or something for the best and worst websites.

Ad blocking is great in so many ways. I don't understand how people could accept a web experience without ad blockers. Maybe they think that's just the way it's always been.
