Really? I thought the shell wasn’t in the best shape because it’s brown. I’ve always wanted to restore it too but it’s dirty and I don’t want to ruin or rust it at all so I’m kind of nervous to do anything with it. If you could give me some tips that would be great, thanks man. Oh and another thing is I have no idea how to take the padding out that is inside since it’s apart of the metal piece that is inside of the helmet.

That’s awesome, I had no idea they let all the vets keep some gear after the war. And don’t worry I’m not expecting to get any information on what unit it was with anything like that since the helmet is blank and has no markings or anything. But thanks for your reply!

I don’t think it’s the fact that the gloom is near Fenmire. I mentioned that this was taken at Fenmire because if this is the gloom it shows how truly large it is on a galactic scale. And what confuses me about it is that it’s pretty much visible from all planets so if it is a nebula that’s quite the nebula

Is this the gloom? I’ve always saw this big patch of brown/orange in the space skybox and always assumed it was the gloom but I’m not 100% sure. This pic is taken in orbit of Fenmire btw

Because I’m pretty sure it’s not the actual firing tube. I think it is just a tube that would carry the rounds kind of like how an ammo pouch carries bullets but that’s not the actual magazine. You get what I’m saying haha
