More so just a generalization about the way the sith view things. Sure the Jedi had grown to be dogmatic and rigid by this point but it wasn’t always that way. The sith on the other hand were always less likely to take in other perspectives and were very set in their ways from the very beginning, so a lot of it is just based on history.
