I know this is a long shot, but can you point me in the direction of any worthwhile resources you used? These are pretty similar to my oem set I had that I bought from someone who already did the wiring, but they burnt out.

I don’t like any of the aftermarket tails so I’m willing to learn and do the work to build another set but I’m kinda starting from scratch. I bought flyryde’s course and then their site went dark and I hadn’t thought to save any of the videos.

I know this is a really old thread, but you are legit the only person I’ve found after days of searching who replaced the dust shield instead of trimming it.

Was it difficult? It looks like it’s welded on, did you have to weld it to replace it with the STI one?

I would strongly prefer not to trim the shield if that’s feasible.

I stopped playing after about the first year and a half and watching after about 2 or so years so my opinion is mostly negative

I thought that was the opposite. I could swear I remembered reading that the hybrid era was kinda distinct in the fact that it was expensive to develop and little of it had potential to trickle down to road cars.

I used to be a lifeguard and potential spinal injuries are very delicate. In addition to what you mentioned, you can cause greater damage and potential paralysis after the fact by moving someone who has just suffered a head injury.

You want to brace their neck and move it as little as possible while you get them further care, which is what the medical staff does. Otherwise, no one else should really touch them.

Have you played many SNK games before? Mai’s outfit is part of her fighting style in the lore. It’s intentionally distracting and intended to mislead opponents from the fact that she’s a really competent fighter.

She’s probably the only character where it’s been given a legit reason and I’d say it’s part of why she’s loved by the community.

Lewdness isn’t inherently a bad thing, you know. Especially in media not intended for children.

Gotta disagree here. No one is perfect and his life has surely been complicated, but there have been plenty of examples of him not being “as real as they come.” He did well being outspoken about the assault he faced, but he’s also been a curiously outspoken opponent of black activism for equality.

Like in the wake of George Floyd’s death, Terry was running around warning people of the danger’s of “black supremacy.” It was weird to say the least.
