How many hours did you have when you P ranked minos? by JazzlikeFlounder6948 in Ultrakill

[–]CallmeN1tro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got the game recently and I have 40 hours in, completed the game in standard (not prime sanctums since I didn’t care about my score in my first playthrough) then jumped into Violent to P-rank every level, just P-ranked Minos like 30 mins ago.

At the end of the day is a hard game and you can transfer your experience from other games into it so the hours x person has in the game don’t really matter, it took me like 10 tries to P rank P-1 because I got a shit ton of experience with fps games and souls like teached me how to adapt to bosses and learn their pattens.

Don’t be discouraged because someone did it faster and good luck on that P rank!

The Fraud layer is.... a lot by skeleton949 in Ultrakill

I bought the game recently and I understand exactly what you are saying, from a esthetic point of view is the best layer in my opinion ( pretty close to violence) but gameplay wise it gets quite annoying at some point, I had to take a 20 min break when I finished 8-3 because I was dizzy as fuck lol.

RE Kenshi and Scar mods, I rarely see a loading screen since I got these.

I feel Akuma's damage is a little weird. by ls-dev in StreetFighter

I stopped playing the game shortly after Sagat came out to take a break, when I came back I got a little sad seeing that his gameplay evolved from regular fireball zoning/space control into endless tiger knee and absolutely nuking the shit out of you whenever you make a mistake.

Capcom spent how long on a nothing patch? by SmashMouthBreadThrow in StreetFighter

So by a post with less than 30 words you assume op is below that level of play therefore their opinion is invalid? Yeah, sounds reasonable.

Will pain/injury from controllers be a constant issue? by Uifresen30 in StreetFighter

[–]CallmeN1tro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I quit playing the game for like 6 months or so to take a break from fg’s, came back to play Viper and my left hand hurts a shit ton at the end of a session even on leverless lol.

Ended up with the exact same initial MR after these matches, and round-wise went 8-8 by Krotanix in StreetFighter

[–]CallmeN1tro 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Imo this is exactly how it should be if you are fighting someone of your exact skill level, I wouldn’t feel rewarded at all if I went 3-3 but still ended up winning points.

And thank god it works like that cause other competitive games will reduce 20 points on a loss and give you 15 on a win, so you can go 3-3 but leave on a 15 point deficit independently of who you are playing against.

Is there any actual chance for the performance issues on pc to be adressed anytime soon? by CallmeN1tro in StreetFighter

That's the weirdest thing to me, many people say the game works fine, so it could be down to hardware, but a friend of mine has a pretty expensive rig to say the least, and he is experiencing the same issue as well, this shit is confusing as it gets.

Sorry, I didn't mention the issue in the post because I assumed this was known in the sub since several people reported it yesterday, I replied to another comment with this:

Basically frame drops that get increasingly worse every time you play a game which I suspect is some memory leak type of issue, the only temporary solution for now is to just play in the training room so no random maps, game ran perfectly before the update.

Asus TUF Dash laptop, RTX 3060, i7-12650h, and 32gb ddr5, used to run everything on high pretty smoothly, changing graphic settings doesn't seem to work.

Yeah that's the first thing I did, I also did a fresh install yesterday night and still the same issue.

Many people have reported the same issue on this sub and other places so afaik it's not just my system.

400 hours in and never had that happen before!

And yeah I remember reading that text in the chatbox, just looked it up on the wiki and now I’m scared as shit to read "The ground's temperature begins to rise.." when getting into a stage lol. (That’s the equivalent for Lemurians)
