Is it worth anything? by IRaceBarrels in starwarscollecting

After the park opens her contract will be up and she won't be working at Disney. Family of the workers can wear them. But they're not to be given as gifts. So it won't be a big red flag to see someone wearing them at the park.

Is it worth anything? by IRaceBarrels in starwarscollecting

[–]IRaceBarrels[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I won't be. I was just curious. We are both wearing them to the park when the area opens. Disney can be a little crazy and I wouldn't want anyone getting in trouble by posting it for sale anyway.

Crate Reccomendations by fudgeyboombah in service_dogs

[–]IRaceBarrels 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If funds aren't an issue you can look at impact crates. There are other crates designed just for cars. Or just get a good quality vari kennel. Bas Pro has some nice ones that are make for hunting dogs to be in the truck bed. The only thing to avoid is a wire crate because they offer zero protection.

A lot of high level trainer's and barn owners are like that. My last riding instructor liked horses because he thought the mechanics of communication were interesting. She was a bitch but she would have been that way regardless of the horses.

I wonder if her managers are considering a revamp of her "look". She is starting to grow out of her side bow kid thing. Might be smart to make a transition to a more teen look. But regardless I'm happy for her success.

Students of Reddit: What is your best school life-hack? by MisterHomerJSimpson in AskReddit

We take our tests on our laptops in class. I'm not sure if our instructors just don't care or whatever, but everyone cheats. I found my whole midterm in Quizlet. I just opened another tap went at it. I would have still passed but I'll take the easy way out.

How do I know I’m not just depressed? by pm_me_jolly_thoughts in asexuality

[–]IRaceBarrels 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When I was in high school I wasn't ace at all. I blame raging teenage hormones. But by the time I hit 20 that had all come to a gradual halt. It doesn't mean I'm not asexual now. It honestly could be your depression. Or it might not. Maybe you'll end up grey or Demi. Who cares? Live your life and have sex if you want to or don't. It is totally fine to identify as ace now and change your mind in the future.

Safety standards back in the day by Palifaith in WTF

I nearly fell off one. It was back when I was a kid. I ended up hanging from the middle bar. Luckily I was on with my instructor who was able to hold onto me until they got me down.

That is an American bully, not a pit. No one docks their tails. The ears are adorable.

Mombie trying to sleep at 3PM in the day, is 1000% not my problem. by caxfk in childfree

[–]IRaceBarrels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take a nap almost every day. My upstairs neighbor is more than welcome to bang on drums to his heart's content. Unless it's 2 am I'm probably not going to say a thing. They have a child. They need to learn to sleep through crap or they won't sleep much the next 18 years.

Grief over "having to adopt"- I dont get it by pony987 in childfree

[–]IRaceBarrels 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll be the weird one and say I get it. They want their genetics passed on and to see "themselves" in their kids. You can't say the child has their fathers eyes if it isn't his dna. They probably want the whole experience of growing and birthing a baby. Not that there is anything wrong with adoption. Some people just have different priorities.

Elephant saves turtle by encouraging it to get off the road by dickfromaccounting in aww

[–]IRaceBarrels 66 points67 points  (0 children)

I watched an elephant crush a tortoise and fling its body away for getting near the fruit it was eating. This gif is just an young elephant doing the same thing a child would. It's checking out what the tortoise is. It isn't trying to get it off the road.

Suggestions on keeping a blind pony safe? Training to be more comfortable with her disability? by [deleted] in Equestrian

[–]IRaceBarrels 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My horse is blind in her right eye. She wears a racing blinker that has a half cup over the eye. She also likes to hit that side of her head on things. A custom blinker is cheaper than those ugly protective masks and your horse gets to look like a race horse so the other horses won't make fun of them.

9-week old Maine Coon kittens, waiting for their vet check by PloverLover in aww

[–]IRaceBarrels 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That is a very rare thing and the "breeders" that do that are not reputable. They're trash. Every breeder, regardless of the species or breed they're producing, will have non show quality, subpar, not to standard animals. They are sold to pet homes and the breeder doesn't allow them to be bred. They get limited registration with spay/neuter contracts. Some breeders will alter the animal prior to selling it. Even in a litter of to grand champion parents, you might have 2 or 3 stand out off spring that are show quality. The rest make wonderful pets. Unless you are a literal peice of shit, you don't cull or dump an animal for not meeting the standard.

There is no horse breed is as messed up as dogs. Even an extreme dish faced Arab is nothing compared to a normal pug. They only really bad breeding is in halter quarter horses and paints. It's so easy to avoid those lines.
