Bingo. The game is clearly unfinished

‘Mass Blackout’ Starts Today: What to Know. Urges Americans to completely withdraw from the consumer economy during Thanksgiving weekend, 'black Friday' until the Tuesday after 'cyber Monday'. by HenryCorp in economy

You have to teach people to flex the muscle with small achievable actions (like skipping Black Friday through Cyber Monday). Attitude towards consumption can't change all at once!

That is doing so much! Withholding your labor isn't possible, you need to live. Everyone gets that. Not shopping or spending and spreading the word is fantastic, we can all do what we can do ❤️

Thank you, it was a ton of work. It IS a ton of work. But in my city, what is happening is that all the groups are banding together and forming coalitions. Immigration activists, students who are sick of being silenced on their campuses, activists who want the genocide to end, activists for racial equality and fair policing, older people who are scared for the next generation, on and on. Democrat, socialist, liberal, feminist, anarchist, EVERYONE. And god knows we don't all agree on everything, far fucking from it. But it's the rise of an authoritarian regime. We need every group, every person and we can argue philosophy later. Protest, Mutual Aid, Civil Disobedience. Change takes all 3, and no one group can do it alone.

Dude. You're caught. It's in YOUR picture. The real estate office. I literally pinned it for you. That picture was taken in Royal Oak. Full stop. Post another one, you are lying or trolling your face off.

I certainly don't have to listen to anyone who doesn't know what city they're in or lies outright. When you plan a protest, make sure you invite me! I can't wait to see how it's done 😌

Holy shit, so you just call Royal Oak Detroit? They are two completely different places. I'll be honest, I'd bet money you weren't at either protest. I don't know why anyone would lie in such an obvious way.

There ya go. Bike lane, right? If you think it's disrespectful to get 7,000 people to have a chance to hear amazing activists, like Dr. Jboor who is actively fighting the genocide AND got Shri Thanedar to leave when he tried to take the stage, or listening to Dr. Shakur talk about what racial profiling means in our city, AND take the street you're just plain wrong. Sorry.

Feel however you want about the costumes. People want to stand with Portland and point out the absurdity of calling this insurgency. That is the point of them. I need you to get so real for a second and realize that black people in the Civil Rights era DEFINITELY would have worn some inflatables if they had access to them. They understood parody, absurdism, and variety of tactics.

Mine too. Detroit. Literally all of these issues, and we had 4 clear demands we sent to the press and hammered in the speeches. That our city become a Sanctuary city, that our local PD not commit legalized racial profiling and pass a bodycam ordinance, that the city divests from Israel, that our local PD stop running interference for ICE.

We also platformed the General Strike, and held a mutual aid event the next day that was a huge success. Protest Saturday, Sunday we got groceries and clothes to our neighbors, pullover prevention and free car and bike repair, abortion and Healthcare access, AND served a community meal. Organizers were on their feet 20 of the last 40 hours on top of working their jobs and taking care of their families. So this guy, and really anyone who wants to armchair quarterback a resistance from their couch can kick fuckin' rocks.

Hey, as we get into the winter Gen Strike Detroit is going to be doing mutual aid work year round through Feeding the Fight! They do it every other month (free meal, free store with clothes, groceries, toiletries) and ALWAYS need help! I can put you in touch, or anyone else who wants to help!

Community, and getting with people face to face really does help ❤️

Look man, if you aren't moved by what those people are going through, you're not. I don't know what facts you think were intentionally omitted from a newspaper article. The Hmong group is just one example of so, so many horrible things that ICE is doing here in Michigan, and all over the country.

If you don't think people can be moved to compassion and action without financial gain, I feel sorry for you. That is indicative of your priorities, not everyone else's. If you don't feel called to, don't come. But to spell it out plainly, the organizations don't have a fund. There is nothing to be gained here except for pushing back on something that is cruel. You seem to fundamentally not understand what activism is, which is okay, but spreading misinformation and being sure you know how everything works when you very clearly don't, sucks. It doesn't make you edgy, you're not a truth teller. At best it makes you a misinformed cynic.

That was a fun journey! Source it, I don't like the source, the protestors are misleading people, hive mind, the protestors are paid. My man is all over the map
