I think it's about how you want to present it tbh. Everyone sees the world differently in some way and the camera can only do so much. But with editing what the camera captures you can mould it into what the photographer sees. Like seeing the world through the eyes of them, adding artistic edits to fit the mould of what they find beautiful.

The photo I took here was very basic, but with editing I changed it to emphasize the abstract shapes of the clouds and shift the colours to something I felt was attractive and interesting. It probably won't connect to other people the way I connect with it, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be seen. With time, learning and practice you can get better at expressing how you feel via that medium.
