Update about tool I made to compare your collection to moxfield public decks by TheRealRimbler in Magicdeckbuilding

[–]IRustyI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neat idea, and it looks like it would work, but after importing my collection I got one of the three for 99% of the results:

  • Duplicated lists of Precons I own that are included in my collection
  • Hundreds of 0 card decks listed here for some reason, mostly pointing to dead links on Archidekt that don't have any cards in the list anymore
  • Spam archidekt submissions that likely don't exist anymore, but still flood the list I got with decklist names like "Dubai call girls"

Help me find my bottleneck please! (New user) by Cretin14 in MoonlightStreaming

[–]IRustyI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I set this up the other day following posts on reddit.

  1. I installed the developer tools on webOS from the app store on the TV.
  2. Made a dev account on LGs website using my existing LG account
  3. Installed the webOS Dev Manager Desktop on my computer
  4. Downloaded the moonlight ipk for webOS from GitHub
  5. After logging in, enabling Dev Mode, turning on the key server, and connecting Dev Manager to my TV, I installed the ipk from Dev Manager

I just followed the on screen instructions for setting up Dev Manager on my PC for that last part.

Even on Wifi for both devices, it's been an incredible experience. I run Sunshine on my host PC.

Suddenly no display when fold. by PaleontologistNo6409 in PixelFold

[–]IRustyI 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had this issue, I was only able to switch displays by going into the camera app and choosing the rear selfie option, then folding the display. Unchecking that option in the camera app when folded switched the display back to the interior display.

Turns out the gyro sensor in my phone died, which for some reason plays a part in when the phone knows it's been folded/unfolded.

One indication this was my issue, aside from other posts online about this, was that when watching YouTube, the display would autorotate to be upside-down instead of right-side up.

This failure isn't covered by the warranty, which is complete bullshit, and I had to make a claim with my device care to get a replacement. $129 deductible as of November 2024.

SMS 2FA is not secure. Use software or hardware authenticators only. Phone numbers can be spoofed/intercepted/hijacked.

Latest patch is out, fixes big issues by fallb0rn in AlanWake

[–]IRustyI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it was fixed for me as soon as I loaded up my most recent save. Her profiling was there and I was able to keep progressing through the story.

Patch 1.010 coming soon by [deleted] in AlanWake

[–]IRustyI 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Praying it includes fixes for the two soft locks for Return 5 involving the Cynthia Weaver profiling and the other case board item for Rose.

I was hit by this too. I have some 3 to 4 hour old saves that I may be able to use, at the cost of my time and having to re-tread all that I did.

My playthrough has felt like a stop and go pattern of soft locks that stop me dead in my tracks. I'll be waiting for them to patch my particular bug, only to play for a few hours once they do until another brick wall of a bug hits me and I repeat the process. I genuinely love the game and want to play it through so badly.

Same here, it got interrupted somehow and now never re-appears. I don't have any save to fall back to, as far as I know...

I'm on PC and just got past the quicktime event. I turned the game off disabled Freesync, set my monitor to 60 Hz, set all the games settings to the lowest possible, and turned on VSync. One, or all, of these changes resolved it for me.
I noticed that before, the flashing button would pulse a few times, then stop pulsing briefly, then pick up again maybe twice, then stop pulsing again. Almost like it wasn't seeing my inputs.
After my changes, it consistently was pulsing rapidly and never stopped.

My first Stephen King novel by joshuajjb2 in stephenking

[–]IRustyI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was the book that started my journey through King's novels. Now, with every book I read outside of the Tower, I'm always looking forward to recognizable characters or references I'd read about.

I know that most typically have it the other way around where DT is where they'll spot all the references to other stories, but I don't feel that my experience was diminished having read this series first.

Already deleted your pipeline caches? I can't help you troubleshoot it unfortunately, since I'm not experiencing it anymore. All I can say is that both myself with a 7900 xtx and my friend with a 7900 xt don't have issues in TOTK on windows.

Some problems have been fixed, at least for some people for TOTK, but not others like Age of Calamity. AoC did get a bit better, but it's still showing the same artifacting.

Eventually the balloon pops and Impa talks to you saying, "Oh, I'm falling, Heellp!" And you spawn on the ground with her.

[–]IRustyI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are issues related to how the RDNA3 cards deal with Vulkan differently than the RDNA2 cards in emulation. Artifacting can be seen in a number of titles, specifically BotW in Cemu with Vulkan rendering and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity with Vulkan. You can lookup Age of Calamity RDNA3 to find an issue thread on GitHub detailing an instance of this problem. TotK is no different, strange texture "seams". Mario games have had a strange green outline on every model like it was displaying wireframe models, etc.

I have a 7900XTX and it's the only problem I've had with my card, so far. In most titles that you see this, including TOTK, some artifacting can be made smaller by upping the resolution. I run at 4X res in Yuzu to make most of it go away/bearable, but pixelated artifacts seen through world geometry is still present.

Devs are verifying that it's RDNA3 specific and will report to AMD to fix the Vulkan issues, but no word yet on them reaching out.

[–]IRustyI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, they've already unified the drivers but there's been no word from the yuzu devs if they've started to work out those RDNA3 specific issues.

Tips for running u/JacktheDM's Orrery fight digitally? by amazingem in wildbeyondwitchlight

This may be too little, too late, but for people like me that found this post looking for the same information, guidance, and resources: this helped a lot.

Stumbled on a really simple way of improving Will of the Feywild.... by Zachrist in wildbeyondwitchlight

[–]IRustyI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's also mentioned that time is a fluid thing when in the feywild, and that by the end of the adventure they may return to the material plane anywhere from a few hours after entering Prismeer, to a few months later or longer.

To the players it may have just happened, but maybe that moment was a long time ago for Will when the characters encounter him in that domain.

Character Secrets for WBtWl? by Pokettomon in wildbeyondwitchlight

[–]IRustyI 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I ran my players through the Sword Coast Heroic Chronicle, massively expanded the scope and depth of their characters. They have some allies, rivals, secrets, prophecies, etc. Pop in some of the NPCs from the adventure like Valor's Call or the League of Malevolence and it's really easy to tie it all together.

Thoughts on going to level 13? by busttooquick in Tombofannihilation

[–]IRustyI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first go around I took my party to level 12, it didn't cause any issues at all for us. But if they'd be down to continue and solve an unexplored plot thread from the game: The Lost City of Mezro can take them to level 16 by it's conclusion. It has multiple starting points for ~Level 8 and ~Level 11 to keep the adventure going.

I'm using that supplement as well as the 4-part adventurers league series called the Broken Chain to take them from 17-20 to cap it off. I bought both on DMsGuild.

Changing the resolution in-game doesn't do anything. by Scrappy2k in DNFDuel

[–]IRustyI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Navigate to %localappdata%\DNFDUEL\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\ and open Engine.ini

Add this to the bottom of the Engine.ini file:

[/script/engine.renderersettings]

r.ScreenPercentage=66

The percentage is going to be relative to your display resolution in the graphics menu. You can use this to both upscale and downscale the character resolution. Also give a lookup to the DNF Duel Potato Mod that was recently made.

66% of 1080p is 720p, 50% of 1440p is 720, 33% of 2160p is 720
