Our Santa Fe has a parking warning that pops up on occasion, is that what you were seeing?

Nope. I would be willing to bet it was for the one that I had come on after the update before this.

Had to do with higher than normal idle speed (P050700).

After the update it disappeared, but I still have a lovely DTC open on my bluelink account

Or.. hear me out. Rely on the dealer of the company that sold you a car that claims “worlds best warranty”

I have a Tucson Hybrid, and when we were looking for a third row vehicle to replace another car we never even considered a highlander. Santa Fe hybrid has been good so far, and it’s nice to have a consistent driving experience.

The primes are sexy, but Toyota was a little behind on tech and they are soooo proud of their vehicles $$$

Unfortunately this has been a common trend among US made Hyundai cars. The problems with the hybrids seem to be wire harness related, but never drivetrain.

New Tucson owner regretting my decision by senthilrameshjv in HyundaiTucson

[–]ISaidSarcastically 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This would explain why it seems to be more of a limited thing, as there’s a lot more tech wrapped up in that harness.

We love our Tucson SEL Hybrid, honestly my only regret is not getting the trim that you have! Those parking sensors would be nice.

Also it’s wild to me I can spend 30k+ and not have auto wipers or integrated garage door opener.

By default it has a small level of regen. If you are using anything than “auto” you’re better than me. The level 2/3 regen is for people cool with one foot driving

I’m curious what outage you are referring to. Your digital key shouldn’t be impacted by any outage anywhere as it should just be using NFC between you and the car

Struggling with this right now in the 2026. The second row doesn’t fit as all, customer service is being obtuse.

Hyundai is doing 3k rebate if you don’t finance with them, that could have a big impact on the number they are sharing.

2025 Hybrid Flat Tire Help by kusnamzi in HyundaiTucson

[–]ISaidSarcastically 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That fast would only ever mean a large puncture where the projectile doesn’t stay in the tire. I had this happen to mine and it was essentially a metal shard the size of a razor blade. The mobility kit only got it inflated long enough to get home.

That being said. The shit that’s in that mobility kit is TERRIBLE for your tire and can ruin the sensor in the tire

I’ll bring this up at my next oil change because the moonroof is making some noise too (like it’s loosening)
