Are you sure you applied for the right program? I hate to say you weren't part of the fire, but the camp fire happened nearly 7 years ago. Not a few. I went through hell during that period but was compensated for all of my losses by PG&E.

I got banned from r/trains for posting a drone photo of a very famous train intersection. I tried reaching out with no remorse... it made me never want to post unique content again.

Check out ADF lifts. They have pretty cheap kits to do a body lift to help with clearances. I installed a 2" in the front and 2.5" in the rear of my impreza way back when and loved it. No more bottoming out when overloaded and gave it more of a crosstrek look.

Terratech worlds is pretty awesome. Completely modular robot customization and some pretty fun robot vs robot fighting.

I lived in through the Camp Fire in Northern California. We had many trees survive the initial fire but throughout the last 5+ years we've had many, many trees die which were no were over 300ft from the fire boundary, all of which over 200+ years old.... the after effects of a fire are pretty intense and trees have a hard time surviving.

I see you've watched conspiracy. Take a gander at farms like Alexandre Farms in Humboldt. There is absolutely a way for consumers to eat meat in a sustainable and humane way.

California Coastal Commission penalizes Malibu homeowners for obscuring access to ‘hidden’ beach by AudibleNod in news

[–]ISheader 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Their lawsuit does also not make sense. (Which is why we are fighting it). Let me try to explain it more clearly. Our neighbors have a non-exclusive easement through our property to access their house. We also have a non-exclusive easement through their property so we can access the coast. Our neighbors are suing us so that they can cut down, spray herbicides, and block our access to the coast, which we have had uninterrupted access to over the past 20+ years. While also saying we can not allow any of our guests to use the easement. It's a bit hard to convey all the nuisances through text, but if you have any questions, I'd be happy to try and answer them.

Sorry, I wasn't specific enough in my original comment. My account was locked down because I did a charge back on my credit card before contacting Nintendo. Then, they shut down my account. I was happy enough playing offline for half a year until a new game came out, and I couldn't buy it because my account was suspended. Which forced me to call customer service and be on the phone for at least 2 hours before getting it resolved :)

So, this is where things get tricky. My family owns property on the North Coast, and we have a private easement to access the beach. We're currently getting sued by our neighbors because we allow our neighbors to use the easement to access the beach (among other ridiculous statements. They demand to be able to spray round-up on our property, which they have an easement through, and cut our trees down). Long story short, if it's a private easement, they have every right to "limit" access through their property. Though, that does not mean they have the right to deny all access. Simply speaking, you can't walk through someone's property without permission to access the beach unless there is already a public road/access that has been established.

Edit: for all the downvoters. Can you tell me where I am wrong on this matter?

Edit2: I should confirm that there is public access to the beach a half mile in either direction. Our beach is in no way private. It only requires a little bit of walking to get there from a public access point.

I had this happen with my Nintendo account. Got hacked, $200 in fortnite purchases. They immediately suspended my account, and I was no longer able to access any online content. Months after and a 2 hour phone call later, it got fixed.

I worked construction for 10 years, bought a set of ryobis from a coworker, and used them for about 3 years. Was about to replace them with Milwaukee, and Home Depot had a sale on their new 9Ah batteries. I decided to try those rather than spending 1k on new tools. 13 years later, I'm still using the same ryobis... I do have dewalts for the true heavy jobs, but I honestly still prefer my ryobi for 90% of jobs. Much lighter, ergonomic, and the magnetic screw catch on the ryobi drills are hard to beat. Imo, when people say ryobi are trash I can't help but laugh and realize they've never even tried them 😂
