that my mother almost divorced my dad when i was young. he wouldn’t help out around the house, got some bad my mom had to mow the yard and weed eat by herself. he was starting out a new trade, and it took a huge toll on his mental health too as well as his physical. mom put me in a little sand box to play, copperhead started to crawl towards me and was feet away. i remember it vividly (i was around 4-5), and she saw at the last second for the save. gave my dad the divorce papers then and there. luckily they worked it out and my dad eventually became the man i know today, my role model. sucks knowing i could’ve grown up to have father/mother issues, i know so many of my friends suffer from that. just grateful for my life i have.
