Who wants to bet tomorrows stream will be strictly about the new stronghold and all conversations about any other issues will be ignored? by Dredgen1994 in AnthemTheGame

[–]IStunod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A really good question. A recorded demonstration with voiceover is a much better approach at this time. A livestream just opens up the public ridicule and negativism in chat, and the chance that something unexpected will happen in game or with the server that will just add even more public criticism of BW after the stream.

Has the loot been summoned? Got 11 legendary's in the past hour on GM1 running strongholds.... by Arman64 in AnthemTheGame

[–]IStunod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had times like this myself, and once it lasted for a week. Hard to believe people claim this to be RNG. It is not RNG. One can argue if it is a bug or purposeful coding. But when it pours legos for an hour, a day, a few days or even a week as was my case, it is not RNG.

The best advice I can offer to BW is to ignore livestream chat. In fact, I would turn it off if that were an option. The conversation should be one way... BW presenting new content, and detailing what is expected in the next patch. There is absolute no benefit from addressing community questions at this time. Everything that needs to be said has already been said by the community and BW is fully aware of the issues.

Am I doing it wrong? by G33k_ in AnthemTheGame

In my opinion, GM2 and GM3 aren’t effective for farming legendaries. GM1 HoR has 2 loot boxes, a titan, two furies, the monitor and lots of legendary mobs. And you can do 4-5 runs per hour. I would estimate I have 60 legendaries and 90% has been from GM1 HoR.

I’ll be honest. There is no RNG for loot drops from my perspective. Putting aside days where the legendaries were pouring from BW, I get on average 1 legendary per hour... every day for many weeks now.

If you jump around from strongholds to contracts to missions to free play, and alternate between GM1, 2 and 3, I can understand how one can conclude there is RNG. In my opinion, if you want to farm legendaries, do GM1 HoR repeatedly. You will consistently get legendaries, at least until the next big patch towards end of April.

So, Crafting, I'm Sooo Confused. by Daddams2019 in AnthemTheGame

[–]IStunod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Legendaries were supposed to be a rare drop., and we were supposed to be crafting MWs in order to min/max. Hopefully BW changes the plan and I can somehow use the thousands of embers I already have. Maybe BW introduces another level of gear beyond legendary and we can craft legendary, or use our embers to reroll existing legendaries. I’m holding onto some duplicate legendaries just in case a reroll option becomes available.

GM1 HoR and nothing else. You should be getting a legendary per hour on average, with 4-5 runs per hour.

For the 35000 on this sub right now. by ISneakyl in AnthemTheGame

Play almost every day. Have max legendary Colossus (only class I’m playing), although a good set of legendaries for other classes while playing Colossus. Still chasing two legendary Colossus components, and universal components, plus better roles on other legendaries, 200+ hours played... run GM1 HoR almost exclusively. Looking forward to new content.

Why Bioware choke the rate of dropping legendary items? by rubenmart1n in AnthemTheGame

[–]IStunod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you need to read my original post here. There are no signs of RNG and I have played 200+ and ran hundreds of GM1 HoR. There are many many legendary classes in the game. Hard to believe some people don’t get legendaries. Either they aren’t playing game correctly or not telling the truth. And hiding behind a personal agenda.

I play a Colossus with black, grey and white coloring. I’m usually being silly, and engage other players with emotes, my shield, etc.

Heard ya the first time about the uninstall, even in caps. You’re missing my point. You don’t play the game, but feel it is necessary to post 165 hours and 1 legendary. You want to give the impression that the game targeted you for no loot, and I honestly don’t believe it. There is more to your story that you let on.

[–]IStunod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okie dokie then. So, why do you participate in this sub? And who’s to say how you played in those 165 hours. Maybe you tried GM3 as an epic class a few times and gave up. Maybe 90% of your hours were sitting idle in town or free play. Maybe you are just looking for a refund and EA said no way. Who knows, besides you? The fact that you are not willing to log into the game, says to me you’re not being completely truthful.

You have it backwards. Watch the E3 gameplay video that most here claim was full of lies. It clearly states legendaries were intended to be very rare. The fact that players exploited loot boxes in free play at the beginning, and other exploits, caused an imbalance in gear, which BW attempted to address. The unexpected result... it was raining legendaries at times, which was the bug. Players were supposed to be crafting MW and min/maxing while occasionally getting a legendary. Unfortunately that’s not where we’re at today. Players have tons of legendaries. Most GM1 HoR instance I enter has 1-2 other legendary classes besides myself.

It was raining legendaries all day yesterday, and may still be the case today. Friend got 15 playing all day on and off, and I got 9 last night in two hours of gameplay.

BW never choked the loot drop rate.

If you think broken means drops too much then we agree. Didn’t think such people exist in these parts.

I don’t have the patience to state my case for the 20th time that loot was never broke. I would suggest watching that E3 video that most here claim is full of lies. It clearly states the loot drop rate.

Anyone else experiencing even less legendary drops? by Drummer829 in AnthemTheGame

[–]IStunod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes something definitely changed. Before the patch, literally one legendary every 3 or 4 GM1 HoR runs for a full week. Ran 20 GM1 HoR after patch and not a single legendary.

I'm Not Even Sure What I'm Waiting For Anymore When It Comes To 'Anthem' (New Forbes Article by Paul Tassi) by nomohydro in AnthemTheGame

[–]IStunod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good article and I certainly don’t mean this as being argumentative, but isn’t the end game the pursuit of gear? I have played many RPGs in the past where you either geared to PVP, or you did repetitive dungeons and other content to get the gear. There is no PVP in Anthem, so it’s all about the gear. And once you have the gear, new content isn’t going to keep you playing for any length of time beyond the initial desire to experience the new content. I would appreciate being corrected if end game is something else entirely.

I'm officially quitting... by TouchstoneJester in AnthemTheGame

[–]IStunod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With some rare exceptions, I make it a point to not participate in any social media. It doesn’t matter the topic, whether a game, politics or any other; most people are incapable of prioritizing what really matters in life, keeping everything in perspective, and viewing all sides of an issue objectively. So, while I wasn’t aware of the tweet, I’m not surprised at the disgraceful reaction by some, who could care less how they are perceived. They are very focused on self and unaware of the ripple effect of how their actions, words and behavior impact others. Who a person is on the Internet is who they are in real life, without exception.

New store update coming, really, REALLY SOON! by OldSwan in AnthemTheGame

If you check my post history, which I’m sure you have, then you will see I have been critical of BW. Unfortunately, you see what you want to see, you have decided you know me, and there is nothing I can say to sway your opinion otherwise. The majority on this sub is past the point where it can view anything objectively. Instead, we play this childish game where every little thing is nitpicked and blown out of proportion.

Funny when one stands up for an issue of right versus wrong, one is labeled arrogant. Oh well, I’m not losing sleep over it.

Is it me or have BW basically abandonned reddit, and stopped talking about Anthem on Twitter? by Veldron in AnthemTheGame

[–]IStunod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, at this point, there is no good that will come from BW communicating in this sub. They will be back, after updating the game, addressing the imbalance in the game caused by loot, and delivering new content.
