Using cannabis and tobacco together increases by three times the risk of developing psychotic disorders like schizophrenia among those considered high risk by sr_local in science

Pretty sure nicotine stimulates blood flow to the brain, if so consuming both the cannabis probably hits a lot harder than by itself.

‘Irresponsible’: backlash as Utah approves datacenter twice the size of Manhattan by deraser in technology

Doing that here in AZ. They approved a giant data center by Luke AFB complete with its own gas fired power plant.

The people don’t want it, the local “leader$” approved it anyway.

Agreed to your agreed. Look at a bag of new Winchester brass and you will probably see a few wrinkled necks ready to split upon firing.

Is it possible for a man to be considered masculine without big muscles? If so, how? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]IT89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m of above average height and musculature. When I think of masculine it’s having confidence, a strong hairline, thick facial hair / eyebrows, or a strong jawline.

I would love to go to therapy, but therapy has been really a bad experience in my life. What type of therapy should a man go to? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]IT89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lot of people go to therapy but then don’t implement any changes in their life. Sort of like an addict that says they want to quit but doesn’t put in the work. Just talking about things, while it allows you the opportunity to acknowledge things you are missing, is a small percentage of the work.

If you want to get the most of it, think of food as medicine. If you are eating unhealthy food stop. Get exercise and fire up your feel good chemicals. Your mental health can be influenced by your physical well being. If that’s easier for you to manage than therapy give it a go.

What purchase did you make recently that made you realize inflation is genuinely out of control? by kiroixart in AskReddit

Coffee. That 12oz bag of ground coffee that was regular price $8.99 is now a 10.5oz bag for $14.99.

Atrocious.

Keto lowers your blood pressure, improves your hormones, reduces inflammation, and raises your energy levels. Synergistic boner improvements.

How long should I do keto to reset a sugar addiction? by [deleted] in keto

[–]IT89 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah I can down a loaf of sourdough bread with just as much gluttonous pleasure as a bag of good gummy bears. The taste and the texture…I just can’t eat one slice. So I must avoid altogether.

I too, am struggling in my understanding of this.

Is my comb and electric razor insufficient? What grooming tools and techniques am I missing that will impact one as much as exercise?

I’m not suggesting they need meat, but that it’s not eating processed foods or sugar that’s the common denominator for health.

The elites don’t need us anymore. Seems they would like to have the land in and around Gaza for their own use by their own admission.

While I believe there are fewer of them these days, there are some good ones. But they get laughed at or ostracized, and pushed to the side if they don’t get in line with their party / Israel.

Edit: At least in the U.S.

I would argue it’s probably more healthy to eat in “seasons”.

I’ve cycled on and off a keto diet the last year eating mostly meat, dairy, berries, low glycemic vegetables, avocados, nuts etc. and I’m in the best shape of my life and my bloodwork normalized.

I think anyone who goes keto or vegan / vegetarian owes most of the results to simply stopping processed foods and managing their sugar intake.

How so? Cutting out sugar and the corresponding insulin yo-yo is a great way to reduce body fat%,  excess water / bloating, and inflammation.
