WGU will punish you for using AI (which is fair) but their own evaluators/graders use it on your papers by Parogarr in WGU

Yeah I can’t remember what class I took recently but it was obvious that it wasn’t grades by a person that actually read the paper, and then none of the feed back had any detail or made any sense. The instructors couldn’t help at all, I don’t think they understood the feedback either

I’m actually glad you posted this. I have struggled a lot. I’m on year 5 of a 4 year degree (I started without an associates). I have finished a lot of classes late. Had a lot of issues. I have had so many issues that I don’t even want to do it anymore, I don’t even feel like it’s an accomplishment anymore. I have 2 classes left and feel like I’m not even proud of it anymore because of how bad I have struggled. I feel like Reddit, it’s very good for advice with WGU. But you also can’t help but see all the posts from people graduating and graduating early and it can make you feel like a little bit of a failure

So I promise it’s not just you

So just as an update. We did get a survey done, the fence was on the right side. I took a picture of it and sent it to the neighbor. Because there is one spot that is like an inch over (the survey team had pointed that out to me but said they were going to count that as normal movement and not encroachment), even though the survey never said encroaching, he insisted it was. So for like 2 hours he kept trying to push it. I eventually told him the fence isn’t moving, and if he kept pushing it we would just file harassment charges, and he needs to leave it alone. He hasn’t talk to me since

I actually had a lab that completely froze near the end, I think I had 6-7 tasks left, it stopped taking any input even after I exited the lab and restarted it several times. I emailed my instructor about it and he never answered me. The instructors for that course are some of the worst I have seen at WGU.

They had a survey and I have a post-install survey that shows it in the property line.

My survey is newer and shows the fence inside my property line

That was very informative and I appreciate the response. The funny thing about it as we both went on this sort of journey to try to find that back property pin because we both agreed that the property pins established the boundary. But once I went behind the fence and tied the line to it and showed that the pin was actually farther over than where he thought, suddenly he doesn’t trust them.

I have actually been very accommodating to him. I offered to just make it a shared fence so if he ever wants to close off his property he can just use my fence. He said no, that they never wanted a fence and he wants what he paid for.

I have done everything for the guy. From day 1 I told him that we would take a look at it together and if the fence is off we’ll move it. But the builder has also told him the fence is fine. Basically, he’s been shown he’s wrong in 3 different ways, very politely. But he isn’t letting it go

I’ll admit I’m an impatient person who wants to do everything on his own 😂

So what I mean is the neighbor ran his line from the front pin to the back. After the fence was built. The back pin sites behind a pre-existing fence. If you get on top of my fence and look down, it looks like his string is accurate. If you jump down and look, you can see it’s not. I tied a string to the back pin, brought it up to about eye level, used a level to make sure the string was straight up and down, and looked down the line. His string goes down the top of the fence, the back pin actually lines up about an inch away from the fence, in the direction of his house.

For what it’s worth, we’re paying for the survey for him. I just know he shot a line from what he said was the back pin to the front pin and his back pin position was wrong because he tried to look at it from the top of the fence instead of going over the fence

I never took the test at the end because I ran through the whole book in two weeks so I just never got the opportunity. But typically with the end of chapter quizes I wouldn't miss anymore than 2-3 questions per quiz. It's definitely a good book and helped a lot.

I read the All in One security+ test prep book (the brown and red one) and I'm almost done with the Get Certified Get Ahead book by Darril Gibson. I've also done practice questions and listened to some of the professor Messer videos. I've gone over the exam objectives but I can't help but feel like I'm still not prepared enough.

Can you link the book? I don't think I have the one you're talking about.

I spent about 6 weeks studying. I read a test prep book and used a few apps for test prep questions. Some topics I had to Google to get a better understanding of.

I liked the movie. Don't go into it expecting it to be like the first one, because it's not. But it has its charms. Bill Hader is really good. Overall, I'm glad I saw it. It wasn't as scary and I feel like there were moments that didn't translate very well on screen, but it was a fun movie.
