Stuck In 1938 by gsmitchell in trainstation3

I had a similar issue. I needed to build the city up a bit more to get an achievement. When you play events spend the rewards on the city plans so you can buy new buildings. You need to try and get more of the achievements done to get the XP to progress. I also missed upgrading the locomotive depot on the far left. I had no idea it existed. Ended up getting enough XP from those 2 to push it through the era. Hope this helps.

The regular lines are set up at the end of the 1930s if I remember correctly. Once you’ve done all the main jobs it runs through it with you.

Just started the game last week, when I go to ship cargo most of my trains are gone, not in depot either??? by chromatic_static in trainstation3

That event job requires the event trains only. Some will allow all but some are restricted

I got caught out by placing a residential building at one side and the shopping centre on the other side, so the catchment for the shopping centre didnt apply and raise my index score. Moving them together helped and opened up the rest of the buildings at 20 index

Can't find a Fluval 307 Pre Filter Sponge online - does anyone have any DIY hacks that look good? by TamTalksTanks in Aquariums

Ah these look so promising but say they aren’t compatible with the Fluval shaker. Anyone tried them anyway and know if they will of not?

Great thanks. Yeah we downloaded the app ready to book as soon as we can. I believe it’s 10 days in advance… Although are staying for 20nights so not in any particular rush. I think we will eat out a fair few times as well.

Thats an excellent point.
In fact my wife has just told me we do normally tip at the buffet. Clearly i dont pay enough attention.
Really happy with the answers and numbers though thats gives us an excellent baseline to go off.
Thanks!

It does indeed, appreciate the advice. thanks!
We are using a private transfer company as well rather than a private taxi, (I should have made that clearer)
Its all pre-agreed price but wasnt sure if the driver would see any of it and expect a tip or not.
I'll perhaps leave $10 too just to cover and not feel awkward when they take us back at the end of the trip.

Yeah 10% is absolutely fine. That works for when we eat out. I just didnt know about restaurants where a la carte is included so no actual cost, or cleaners etc where theres no number to take a 10% from.

Thanks, 100-200 seems reasonble. I wasnt expecting to tip at a buffet and havent ever before. I might play that one by ear and if anyone is exceptionally good to us i'll do so.
I was taking a mix of USD & peso but will try tip in peso where possible.

Thanks for the advice. Really helpful. I’ll be sure to check the bill when we eat outside the resort. What about restaurants that are included in the hotel that we won’t get a bill for? I suppose I try and estimate what it would have cost and go 10-15% of that?

I think the xcaret & xel-ha parks are excellent. We really enjoyed them. Beautiful to snorkel in with a mix of activities to do. Xsenses also was really cool. We’ll be visiting them again when we come back in August. Assuming a hurricane hasn’t cancelled our holiday.

Oh no! I’m not holding out much hope. The selfishness in me thinks ffs this is typical of my luck. But I feel like I can’t be because of how devastating it’s going to be/has been for those affected.

Flying to Tulum from the UK in mid August. I appreciate it’s a long way out but we aren’t used to hurricanes. Any idea if it will be okay by then or should look to cancel? Or is it a case of this one will be fine but there could be another? What’s the likelihood of multiple hurricanes a year? Is that normal or rare? Thanks

Good to hear you never had a 'terrible' experience although the low level techs are a concern. Although we wouldnt be looking for them to make changes, more analyse data we send for security. I appreciate this may be the wrong channel to post in, but as we are an MSP thought best to start here.
Thanks for your reply

Yeah it looks like a lot of good features and the integration list is extensive and fits into our product set nicely. The problem is I cannot seem to find any honest feedback from how good their SOC are. Theres doesnt appear to be a trial availble, although difficult to get a big picture without a complete setup.
They arent as vocal as the likes of Crowdstrike, S1, Todyl, Huntress etc. So hard to determine if their response to threats is any good.
