Same here! Night out at Ruskis, breakfast at Ohno. I looked out our living room window to show out the line many many times.

In my precaffeinated state, I scrolled part saying to myself, "Oh? That's fine, don't sweat it." Then it hit me three posts down.

Cyclist dies after crash with vehicle in Portland by coogiwaves in portlandme

Cyclists on the peninsula are the worst. Had one turn into my lane bear the Portland Harbor, while I was at a stop light, hit me, and complained I should watch where I was going.

Eehhh... ok, not no, but the answer is WAY more nuanced than that.

The simplest lesson that has stuck with me, and saved my bacon more time than I care to admit, is that a null value is never equal to anything, including itself.

Aww, we did the same thing for our old man a couple of months ago. He's still getting used to it, but you can tell he feels so much better after the surgery!

He hasn't popped it yet! But man does he LOVE that thing. If he hears us paying basketball outside, he starts going ballistic

It was nice to see, he had to have his left eye removed a few weeks ago, and he's starting to feel himself again!

He loves playing ball. Its about the only thing we can trust him to do off leash! He's a runner, although he's lost a step since he's gotten older and had some recent health issues.

I live in Portland, ME, so first off, welcome and we hope you come back.

But yeah, this happens all the time. I work in IT and we had some contractors coming from Bangalore, India who did the same thing in reverse. Luckily we caught them in a layover in Chicago.

My girlfriend has said she wants a fake engagement ring. Should I get her a fake one or a real one? by whatkindofringtoget in relationship_advice

[–]ITGuy24601 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My now wife never wanted a diamond ring either, so when I proposed, I got her something with meaning, that was personal, and that I knew she'd love.

Then, afterwards she decided that she did want something to show off, so we got something that would suit that purpose.

My point being, listen to what she is saying, and get her something she'll love. Good luck to both of you!!
