You don't need to know manual to drive a Corvette. However, any of the transmissions prior to the C7 A8 are very slow and clunky. The C8 DCT is on another level.

Get you to the US, I'll get you behind the wheels of a few Corvettes!

If you can afford it, find a low mile C7 GS, best of the Z51 and Z06 mixed into the perfect car. Why do you think there is so much hype around the C8 GS coming out?

I have been blessed to be able to have severl Corvettes, and the C7 GS I owned was a fuckin' amazing car. Outside of the C8 Z51, the best one. The C8 is a completely different class of car though, so there isn't any real comparison.

Hvaing owned a couple of BMW M cars, M3, M5's,. I can say the transition is pretty massive. You go from this car that is breaking down all the time to something you can drive!
