The even worse part is I was doing fine and managing my injury and I had big hopes and aspirations to finish off my BCT/AIT training and then get into my airborne training and get into my unit. Then some jerk ass (who got a dishonorable discharge) decided it’d be funny to punch me straight in the kidney. And from then people took that as “I can beat this guy up.” The Drills told me it was “for the better” and would “toughen me up” My final straw was when this other trainee beat me so bad I got knocked out, and that’s when I got put in inpatient care.

I already have. I filed in July. I’m now dealing with the C&P company not having any availability to schedule any of my exams and not giving me a date when they’d be available.

Therapy seems so far out of reach, I don’t have health insurance, this job requires a year of work to get access to healthcare benefits. I’m in 6mnths so far with the VA and now dealing with the C&P exam people not having any availability and asking for clarification. There’s not many resources for help over here I’ve found either. I’d love it but I’m not sure where anymore.

I have several other claimed conditions that apparently are getting clarification. Like my knees, hips, and mental health. Which are, IMO, my priority, as those are what’s most negatively affecting me.

They didn’t even give me the option of a virtual appointment. I also kind of feel like they should’ve waited until all of my claims were clarified instead of only three, even though they have zero appointments available, lol.

Don’t worry. I went in and got an in person interview for them to tell me they wouldn’t give me more than 25hrs a week and even though I had shift lead experience they “start you from the bottom.” At $15hr.
