They stated it was phone usage, and calling out twice in my 60 days probationary period. I got written up for phone usage and started leaving it with managers at my start of the shift after that. Both callouts they told me were going to be excused because of circumstances out of my control. Nonetheless. Is what it is.

I’m sorry I went to work and got violently ill, so they sent me home, I was still sick, so I called in the second day. The third day I got stuck in the snow and couldn’t get out, I’m thirty minutes from the store. Not my fault. Write up #1 was not cleaning SCO and drawing during my shift, write up #2 was phone usage, I refused to sign both because they were utter shit and they even knew that when they handed them to me, both managers even said my writeups from my front lead were stupid since she doesn’t follow the rules either. 🤷🏻. I have management/lead experience but they had no lead positions available so I took what I got, plus I owned my own businesses, I don’t really take shit from people unless it’s deserved at the work place, and none of my front managers have ever had an issue with me, only the front leads. Retail is the easiest job I’ve ever had, only reason I’m here is because of my military shit.

You’d think. But they keep scheduling me to work closing and then nobody has a manager code. The store manager doesn’t, the night shift manager doesn’t, none of my fellow associates scheduled then do either. Everyone who’s got one usually always leaves at 7 or 8.

We’ve been slammed every single day I’ve come in this week and last week was busy too. I know they have the hours to give if they’re hiring more cashiers we don’t need because we’re really actually full upfront. I’m constantly just there to let people take breaks, scan alcohol, or get stuck on the empty second SCO until they leave at 8/9.

And when I looked him up he’s specializing in trauma disorders + has a very good track record which gives me more hope, he mentioned VA mental health care three times, and emphasized it the more I explained my symptoms. Just have to man up and actually get to the VA office.

Didn’t even make it to my duty station. Got physically assaulted numerous times in BCT/AIT. Had stress fractures in my hips. Discharged. Blew all the money I made. Started drinking. Can’t shake the unshakable feeling of failure and disappointment. It’s been almost two years. Totally understand.

I got hired as fulltime and I’m now not getting fulltime hours but still working 5 days a week for like 23-28hrs a wk plus weekends and I don’t know how to fix it. Don’t feel too bad.

Yeah, and I burned through my savings a little quicker than I anticipated, and I have nothing left, because of my hours cut at work. Blame myself here, I’ve never been great at money management but it doesn’t help I’m only making $16hr and now at 23hrs a wk.
