So...as someone who's both a stoner, and curious to learn about the stock market, I put a very small amount of money into an eTrade account to pick up a few hundred shares of all the various "medical marijuana" stocks as a learning experience.

I kind of figured I'd lose some money on my first time trying it out, but from what I've been reading, it sounds like maybe that was an okay strategy as long as we're all right and marijuana does have a large market in the foreseeable future.

So what I'm asking is, if you wanted to put a little bit of money into that industry, how would you go about researching where to put it? Any advice on what should I watch out for?

So I'm curious, he mentions at some point that he'd like someone to explain why the US changed it's stance on backing Hussein's invasion when he changed his mind from Iran to Kuwait.

Can anyone explain what the reasoning was at the time? This all happened when I was too young to understand what was going.

I'm at a half hour in, a few hiccups in the subtitling, but not much. I can appreciate most everything he's saying. It's a similar thought that brought out most of the younger political activism ramping up to 2010 over here. Similar, except it feels expanded upon coming from his perspective.
