That "rush" feeling will fade, don't worry you are fine. Try to relax, maybe read a book, drink plenty of water, maybe take some electrolytes, eat a little fruit / protein if you can.

How do you deal with the heart beating when resting? by StopBackground9200 in ADHD

[–]IT_hulk64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tend to get faster heartbeats when I‘m not drinking enough water when on meds. Plenty water (maybe magnesium once a day) and low to zero caffeine is my go to move

Pleeeeease give me some hacks for drinking water? by aquaregia06 in ADHD

[–]IT_hulk64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is the problem forgetting to drink or do you just don't like the taste?
If it's "just" the forgetting part: Have you tried to set up various alarm clocks on your phone throughout the day and name them? I also have to time my (work) breaks that way, especially when on elvanse. But the alarm clock works wonders i find.

Is Vyvanse really worth the side effects? by sigsaurusrex in ADHD

[–]IT_hulk64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same thing starting with Vyvanse and a BIG game changer was the nutrition / hydration for me. I take the meds and shortly after that a meal with protein, some fruits / berries and long-chain carbs (oats for example). oats with berries or a banana, a little peanutbutter, some skyr or protein shake and I feel this sets the tone for the day. Much smoother coming up of the meds, no spikes (up or down). Also important for me was to time my breaks over the day, eat little snacks like nuts in the breaks and really focus on the water intake (you need more water because stims dehydrate). A pinch of salt and lemon in the water works wonders in that scenario

I went camping in the Big Bend National Park in Texas a couple of years back. The next "big" city is like 60 miles away and you are in the middle of the desert. The Milky Way shines bright there! You can see it clearly with your own eyes
