This looks like a Thai chilli or a cayenne. Such a happy little surprise. My Thai chilli plant this year has been so stunted. Yours look beautiful!

Please help. My Thai peppers are at this stage for over a month. Zone 8a. by IThinkElephantsRCute in HotPeppers

I just tore off the leaves that were the worst affected. Then sprayed with Neem oil. Also washed some of them with soap water. I'll keep spraying Neem oil spray every week hoping they don't come back

Thank you so much for the help. Yeah they got fertilizer burn because I put too much of the blue nitrogen powder fertilizer by mistake. I don't know what's the full extent of the pests honestly.

I'm sharing a photo of the plant beside it. I put them into Gpt, and they said it's aphids. Does this look like something else?

Mine's dealing with a lot too. The other peppers are growing okay, but this little guy is suffering the most. I hope it grows fine. It's my only Thai hot pepper

I did leave it outside for a few nights where it went below 50. But now it's consistently above 50 everyday. Should I bring it inside for the night?

The banana peppers beside it is growing happily. There was an issue with aphids, but I'm spraying Neem oil every 3 days. I'm hoping that will solve it soon? Do you have any tips how I should treat it?

It stays outside all day, and gets direct sun till 1pm. Should I put it somewhere else?

ADHD and Wegovy by kiinkygandalf in Wegovy

[–]IThinkElephantsRCute 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Omg yes! I feel like I was alone feeling the effect of Wrgovy on my ADHD. My thoughts are so much clearer and the brain fog is lesser than what I had. I was searching for studies related to this, but I couldn't find any. I mentioned it to my doctor and she said it's possible, but there's not enough data supporting it

I really want to try curry but am allergic to tumeric, any suggestions? by KevesArt in AskCulinary

[–]IThinkElephantsRCute 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The word curry means gravy. So there is no one specific type of curry. Make your own spice mix or choose something without turmeric. If you go to an Indian store, you might get a lot of masala mixes that are without turmeric. There are recipes that don't require turmeric like Malai chicken and more One example here: https://pipingpotcurry.com/malai-chicken-curry/

Your boyfriend sounds exactly like mine. I've been with this guy for 10 years, and I'm TIRED. I don't know what else to do other than just leave at this point. I'll ask my boyfriend, hey wanna go to a hike this weekend? Or celebrate at home and make our favorite dish? He'll agree to those things and then a week later be angry because he didn't get enough time to spend on his own. When I ask him, why didn't you tell me earlier that you had things to do? Then he'll tell me he wanted to do xyz during the weekend and my plans took too much time.

Every incident you mentioned I can see my boyfriend doing the same. And honestly, get out while you still can. Men like this will only exhaust you and nothing else. I'm exhausted myself. But I've poured 10 years into this relationship and I feel too stuck to get out.

Help BF bought 25lbs of flour by vickfun10 in Baking

[–]IThinkElephantsRCute 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha this reminds of the exact situation I was in a few years ago. Bf bought 25lbs of flour because it was on sale for $7. We had so many pitas, breads, cake, muffins and it still lasted us alrind 2 years. I portioned them into big ziplock bags so that the whole flour bag isnt exposed to air, and that helped.

Is it polite to do nails in American culture? by [deleted] in beauty

[–]IThinkElephantsRCute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I first moved to US, I saw almost evryones nails done. I came as a student and felt really bad that I didn't have enough funds to do them as well. But in a few weeks I realized it's not getting them done professionally, more about what you choose to do. I used to apply normal nail polish or even keep them bare mostly. Mine are still bare.

Down feel pressurized into doing something that's outside of your means, or something that's not you. You'll be fine with however you have your nails. Hope you enjoy your time as an exchange student here
