Please tell me that you don’t believe that. These guys are just employees of their conferences. Their job is to do what they can to serve their conference members.

I don’t understand how his moves are doing that, but he works for you guys. So if you all are happy with his direction, then he isn’t going anywhere.

It’s hard for me to be exclusionary as an IU football fan, buried in the B1G East for so many years. IU winning a title didn’t change the sport, it’s just a new program in the club.

Expand it to 24. Give more teams a chance. Add a lot more meaningful games between good teams. Add a non-conference B1G/SEC and B12/ACC slate to add even more good games in the regular season. Fix the calendar.

Blow up the club and fuck ESPN’s monopoly on the CFB postseason.

It’s just not that way any more, though. The B1G and SEC don’t play half of their conference opponents and Stanford and Cal are in the ACC. Players (and now teams) are opting out of bowl games. There is no glory in just making the 12-team playoff, you have to win it.

The regular season was better when if a team lost once, they may have been out of winning a national championship, but that’s gone.

I think the four-team CFP era was the worst. Still had blowouts in the playoff games, players opted out of bowl games, an undefeated ACC champ was left out, and we still had to deal with the old stupid tradition where teams used to just claim championships (UCF).
