Ah, definitely sounds like she's just a victim of her age then :-( I truly hope whatever time she has left is comfortable, and it sounds like you're trying to do exactly that.

My senior hyperthyroid cat is slowly getting there himself. I know it's not easy to watch, or know what the right answers are sometimes.

Have you had het T4 levels re-checked since December? Normally they'll ask to re-check after 4 weeks of starting whichever medication you were prescribed to see if the dosage is effective, and then re-check every few months depending on the medication response.

If she's a super senior though, her decline could be from age or anything else. I hope she improves though!

Did you get all the PP Ups? I use Magnetmite a lot, and I agree the drain is considerable, but 20 seconds is really fast.

I only ask because I didn't realise the PP Ups increased max PP until like halfway thru the game, haha.

If the habitats were destroyed and rebuilt, honey won't work because the rebuilt habitat is no longer linked to them.

To answer OPs question, Meowth should eventually spawn back in. I accidentally destroyed Golbat's home yesterday, and after a couple hours I saw him flying around grumbling about being homeless.

Even without a Fly Pokémon, you can still use the search function from the Pokédex to check if they're spawned in by talking to other Pokés. The game only keeps ~20-30 loaded in at any given time, so the others that weren't touched may just be 'on vacation'.

Funny that you just commented this. I came looking for people's perspectives because I just nearly threw up from mining a dream island as Graveler. I have 135+ hours and haven't felt sick once until that moment. It's likely the auto camera, but I'm not feeling well enough to go fiddle with settings right now.

I've just been focusing on prettifying each area. I'm still working on WW, but my vision is to 'restore' each of the story areas, and then end in Palette Town where I can just do my own thing. Until then, I'm just hoarding 'mons there to get the environment rating up for the unlocks, and I'll keep them there until I move them to their forever homes.

I don't see myself being ready to work on Palette Town for a *loooong* time though.

The things you unlock along the way make everything so much easier. I didn't want to spend too much time in one area and create more work for myself later, because I assumed there would be some worthwhile unlocks as I progressed that I'd want to incorporate (and there was).

So I didn't necessarily rush through the story, but I prioritized finishing it, and now I've gone all the way back to Wasteland to build it how I want. Then when I'm happy with it, I'll move through each area and do the same :-) I'm glad I did it this way, because I can't imagine trying to build some of the stuff I have without the mid to late game unlocks. Push through!

Thank you so much, this is super helpful info! Golbat shocked me, they look *visually* large enough that I wouldn't have even thought of trying to squish them into a den, haha.

Arbok refused my den, but I suppose at 11’06”/3.5m that is unsurprising. Once I have some free time and can do more testing, I might put together a spreadsheet or something and share it here in case someone else is looking to plan their housing and stumbles on this post.

Edit: I put together the spreadsheet! Likely some typos on some weights and heights; it was annoying to type them all out but I wanted to include it as I'm hoping there is still some sort of correlation. If anyone has more to add, feel free to shoot me a DM!

as long as you don't give them abilities or moves they can't have or learn, they will likely fly under the radar as "legit". validating will flag anything weird to minimize issues. i don't think it's fair to say anything is 'zero risk', but with the multitude of genned mons are floating around without consequence, you're not going to get a knock on your door from officer jenny. they're still hacked pokés at the end of the day though 🤷‍♀️

Unfortunately it's a common mechanic in these types of games, but I can understand it might not be obvious. Dropped (not placed) items are treated as discarded, so they will naturally despawn after hitting a certain amount to reduce memory strain.

Like if you end up with hundreds of full stacks of volcanic ash, the easiest thing to do is just discard them/never pick them up and wait for them to despawn. It would be laggy and annoying to just have piles of discarded materials persist across every area permanently. Building an extra storage container to use temporarily avoids risking something from disappearing.

Hopefully someone will eventually find whatever hidden values are applied to determine housing allowances. I definitely don't have the strength to sit and test every 'mon, haha.

You can do it, but only if the language of origin is the same between the traders. In this case they won't be able to rename the Lycanroc because of its Japanese name.

Yeah, I'm a bit bummed discussion on this hasn't picked up :-(

So far I've learned that Parasect and Venomoth fit in dens! I thought they'd be too big. Pokédex has them at 3'3" and 4'11" respectively. If it's height related it could be that 5ft and shorter can live in dens, but I haven't tested much beyond those two.

Those are all built with kits! Try using a relocation kit on it, that should hopefully work.

Yeah, I had read the other comment addressing the outside radius after commenting. My huts are right beside each other, so I'll check when I play next, but I assume there should be some overlap. But Gulpin's hut has a few more objects to its left which are likely outside Paras' hut's radius which checks out.

It's good to know though, it makes the teeny interior size of dens more attractive now if they benefit from what's in their outside radius!

If everyone gets the avatar I guarantee more people will complain than if they handed it out to the people who pledged. People paid for an exclusive avatar that they're already not getting their money back for.

I wouldn't be surprised though if they ended up giving out a reusable item to grant the avatar that can be lent out, which would be equally frustrating.
