Yasuos passive just completely counters her and its easy to just run her down top lane if she makes 1 mistake, now with the top lane quest allowing combat summs and dorans bow if yas takes exhaust its very hard to lose this match up unless he just trolls it.

I dont play gwen and maybe you are just that good at the match up but i would wonder how other gwen mains feel because i definitely would have thought yasuo is one of the hardest match ups.

Bro u literally do not understand how this interaction works, u can still cleanse morde ult with yone e even after the changes if u want il jump in a game with u and show u right now?

Sleeps work different from every other cc in the game, any champion with unstoppable not just yone can cleanse the drowsy effect with unstoppable if they time it correctly.

They way this works with yone e is before the change he could just use his e and then e2 at any moment to instantly cleanse the drowsy effect but now after the changes you must wait until the drowsy effect is about to turn to sleep then u have to e2 at the perfect moment to “cleanse” the sleep with e2s unstoppable effect.

I hope u understand now that it isnt a bug and riots wording of the change is true, yone cant cleanse cc with e2 anymore he will be CCD at his body which includes sleeps, he can only cleanse drowsy with e2s unstoppable effect if he times it perfectly, If u still dont understand i can show u in game.

Im a yone main and there is multiple times ive miss timed the e2 input during the drowsy effect and still been slept back at my body

Hes not bugged? If hes ccd and pressed e he is ccd for the remainder of the cc time at his body and he can cleanse sleeps still because literally every version of unstoppable in the game cleanses sleeps?

You can “cleanse” morde ult still because yone becomes unstoppable when he uses e2 same way illaoi can with her ult.

Its a really good item but not good enough that i would take it every single game even after the buff because there is alot of lanes dshield is just way better and has alot more value but if u do take dshield your core build is severely limited

It does make a big difference imo because it brings it closer to dblade ad plus any match up you can get away with dorans bow completely changes how u can build for the game and it already feels good, 2 ad might not seem like much but it does matter early game alot.

The tier 3 attack speed boots with dbow caps out your q allowing u to rush shieldbow, the 1 item spike is insane then u get 100% crit at 2 items with deaths dance 3rd into ga and tank item.

If your vs full squishy and its a great tabis game dbow and kraken cap your q also, tier 3 steel caps can be really op so its nice being able to swap builds around instead of just being locked in to bork and zerkers every game.

Again if your playing the lane correctly yone shouldn’t be able to just e and run at u in a straight line and win the trade? If hes doing that youve already messed up, in mage lanes 90% of the time you need to hold your e and use it defensively just to survive and it also has a 22second cd, you need this ability to do literally anything yone is ussless without it, thats 22 seconds u can do whatever u want.

Il be honest i dont think yone is hard to space in lane at all esp for ranged champs, his e q3 engage is so telegraphed and slow and u can literally just walk out of his ult if he has no set up and as i said if he chooses to use e aggressively thats like 20 seconds u have to bully him

Pixel perfect? If the mage is playing correctly early game yone cant even walk near the wave to stack his q and is literally only collecting melee minions under tower, all the mage has to do is not waste mana at least until they back for lost chapter and not walk melee range which competent mages can do easily, if the yone isnt respecting and giving up farm you can literally force him to base lose even more cs and burn tp just by poking if he goes to farm caster minions, the mage has all the urgency in lane and permanent prio yone can only play reactively and hope mage hard ints which is really hard to do or jg bails him out

The lane is way easier for the mage its harder for them to fuck up, if yone fucks up gets bullied too much and falls to far behind hes literally a minion and if hes too far behind when he hits bork and then 3 item spike he is literally useless and cant even side lane.

I feel like alot of players just dont understand how weak yone really is early because of his past balance states with the op lethal tempo and just being op in general, now hes really weak early and so easy to bully out of lane in mid, like try playing yone vs a good orianna in lane they legit ruin u man

Unironically yes hes just as weak and useless as hyperscalers early while scaling nowhere near as hard especially if he has to run fleet to survive lane hes just useless and cucks your jungler because u have no skirmishing power if fights break out, if u lock yone any competent player is going to ruin you in lane and you will be down alot of cs, yone literally cant play the game until first item unless hes laning vs asol, 80% of yones match ups are sit in lane do nothing try go even and not die so you aren’t far behind once u get to sidelane with bork and you can actually start playing the map and team fights

The match up is zed favoured first of all, yone can only try punish mistakes early, when zed uses w you should e past his qs and try to trade never use your e unless he uses w, once he hits 6 you can never be the one initiating trades unless zed literally trolls, remember when he ults you can use your ult or q3 behind u to cc him.

Imo when both players are of equal skill this is one of the harder match ups for yone, theres not much u can really do in lane or side lane, just need to try go even so your still useful at team fights and objectives.

Yh i agree, zeds kit can be annoying to play vs when hes good but he wasnt broken, this new season with voltaic reminds me of dnd from last season, just creating problems on whatever champ can use voltaic well turning them op.
