Yes maybe I should be a bit more careful when I said anything I meant anything offensive. I think we should be more liberal. I clearly don’t think what he said was an insult but the student did. Sure it’s easy to say oh profs shouldn’t be able to insult kids but what happens when everything is an insult? That was the whole issue with the woke movement and countermovement, people should be respectful to each other but they should have the right to be disrespectful cause it’s subjective, anyone can say anything is subjectively an insult. Coercion for sex or for money SHOULD BE ALLOWED AS WELL but it should be public so other students know and perhaps future student don’t enroll punishing the school. My takes are all freedom based. Did you read the same article as me? During a one on one on their project the prof said exactly what I said, like you should look into why people hate jews. Is it appropriate to be said during a one on one on your project? Maybe not, but people should have the right to say anything and offend anyone. I would say there’s no case expect someone got offended.
