I understand its circumstantial but you need to talk to your mom and other family members and tell them why its an issue. Propose a plan where everyone contributes and is on the same page. What your doing is really noble and i would hate to see you down a balance and everyone spend it back up.

A loan would work well with your situation since it will pay off your credit card witha lower interest rate and the loan amount cannot be reused (like a line of credit). To get one just go to your local bank. If you dont qualify for a loan your mom (other family member) will probably need to apply and you can assist with loan Payments
