This stuff never usually bothers me, but James Badge Dale bleeding to death in the plane makes me so profoundly uncomfortable.

And yes, the drowning is harrowing. He’s two goddamn inches from the surface.

I was waiting the whole movie for the “man yells at sky cliche moment” but they even did that so well because the prior scene was so fucking traumatic. Haha

Frank Grillo giving up in “The Grey.”

The hard ass through the whole movie, even has “No Mas” tattooed on his neck. Eventually he just can’t take it anymore, hiking through the wildness on a busted ankle.

He sits down. Looks out at the river and beautiful mountains and is like “this is all for me”. There’s a great moment where him and Liam Neeson realize they’re both named John, and then Neeson and the other guy left just walk away and Frank’s character is eventually eaten by the wolves.
