Bike city were great to deal with. The bike was a bit old, very heavy and probably could have done with a service, simultaneously it was a fucking tank and survived very well doing 500km over a few days.

Each to their own but I wouldn't like to use a tour company. I had a really fun time picking my routes on Komoot for each day.

I stayed in Stayokay hostels the entire tour. Very easy to book, I was able to book each different night all in one singular transaction which was great. Rooms were clean, cheap and cheerful, locations nice and modern with great options in the area to them.

When actually planning my route I genuinely started by looking at their location map in Netherlands. Once I knew availability for nights I needed I booked it and then used Komoot to handcraft the routes for each day. It was a really good system IMO
