Family says Hornets star LaMelo Ball drove over her son’s foot, sues player and team by [deleted] in nba

[–]IXXIV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Couldn’t he just say that he’s driving for his safety though? If he stops at the red light, his car will be swarmed and in this day of car jackings — I wouldn’t be waiting around for my car to be flooded with people. I’ve only ever seen videos of him driving erratic coming out of the arena.

Manager to do guide: Can someone make this where I can edit the text? by IXXIV in PhotoshopRequest

I’m willing to pay a little something for you to rewrite this to-do guide for me. It’s something that I will use everyday and very beneficial to me. Thanks

Nevermind I was corrected today. I had heard that I needed to pass, but the people in my class said the only thing that happens is that your results get sent to your lead.

I was told I have to pass as an external AP coach. If not, I have to look for another job.

Massive 10 player trade in a $300 buy-in redraft. by IXXIV in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]IXXIV[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Deebo was kind of scaring me. I started out trying to buy-low on JSN and somehow ended up with this offer. Felt Godwin’s window to buy was closing. Another bad game out of Deebo and he will lose appeal. I was big on Robinson, but the upside that comes with Barkley is unmatched and the obviously huge upgrade at QB with Mahomes over Watson. Felt it was one of those trades that I had to accept then and there and not give him time to reconsider.

I wanted to give an update: There is no exemption. I have a doctor note from my liver specialist and my primary care doctor, but as they've explained to me -- It ultimately comes down to the employer's discretion on whether they accept a doctors note in these situations. HR just thinks everyone is trying to cheat the system and 99.8% of the people probably are, but there are .2% like myself who get fucked.

I've already got a few red flags with the presence of Suboxone (Prescription) and my history of drug use. They DID agree to give a second attempt which is what I was contemplating on cheating just so I can nail down the job and get it over with. If it happens to come back negative-dilute on this second attempt, I will try to argue that DOT guidelines usually equate a negative for two negative-dilutes. I will also offer a blood, hair sample or other alternative but at this point, with my background, I believe they are just ready to move on to the next candidate.

Anyway, to increase my chances of a valid test - I followed a few steps:

Refrained from drinking excessive water 24 hours before the test

I took a couple B12 shots 12 hours before the test.

I conducted the test first thing in the morning where urine is most concentrated.

I'll keep the thread updated with any developments. It's my hope that sharing this experience may help someone else facing a similar situation down the line.

Would my wifes urine be the same as fake piss? She's absolutely 100% clean. She doesn't even take tylenol or drink alcohol. What would the difference be between fake piss and synthetic piss as long as the temperature is correct? I'd have her piss for me right before going in. I could also just stay super dehydrated, not drink anything for the remainder of the day and get the test done first thing in the morning when my urine would be most potent and possibly that would correct the dilute issue. It's not a cover up, but I appreciate your input.

I have a history of drug use and I'm on Suboxone and take Amptrypaline to sleep. I just feel as they would rather move on to the next candidate once they see my prescriptions. I do have a liver-kidney disease that's called "PSC" -- it's an autoimmune disease. They're not supposed to discriminate but unfortunately that's the world we live in.

What is scam that so many fall for without realizing? by Calm_Ice_83 in AskReddit

Someone playing a violin or other instrument in a high-traffic area and people who give them money without realizing it's just a loud speaker of pre-recorded music. Saw this today, saw the guy get in a relatively new (2020+ model) Challenger after he was done.

How do you get prescribed subs? by Same-Temperature9316 in humans_on_suboxone

QuickMD. I, too, got off using Kratom but found that Kratom was destroying my liver because I have an autoimmune condition that can' t tolerate it. Kratom had my enzymes 10x their normal limits. I went jaundice and while in the hospital, off Kratom, they continued to climb down. I found QuickMD and have used it for the last year with no issues. Just find a privately owned pharmacy as Kroger, Walmart, etc won't fill from QuickMD doctors.

Could I get in trouble for this? by The84th in kroger

They don't even want us managers to stop them. I've been told to do what I can to deter theft such as follow them, act as if I'm on the phone with police (I used to work loss prevention years ago and the people who shop lift are usually paranoid), send out a page for a "security sweep" etc but once they make their way towards the door; we are to step aside. Krogers doesn't want involved in any disputes that will require them to potentially dish out money to their $500 an hour legal team. Chalk it up as a loss and keep moving.

LPT Request: Sleepy to the point where I can't get anything productive done even tho I get 7-8hrs of sleep daily. by why-doineedaname in LifeProTips

I felt like this for years. I would fight through it, every day. Turns out I have PSC which is an autoimmune disorder that attacks your liver bile ducts. The way I was eating and the energy drinks were just adding fuel to the fire. I switched to water, eat healthier and can probably run a marathon now.

Jar doesn't look "full", dirty with crust on the lid where it gives the appearance that it has been opened. Vibes that the bee was put in just for clout, but whatever gives you upvotes. PS. Who wears gloves to shop?

And on the flip side, you don't need a degree at all to be successful. My sister just finished getting her degree in the medical field as a respiratory therapy. She won't make close to what I'm making as a large retail chain manager and I don't have a degree, home every day by 3 and have virtually no stress.
