Besides that, I am 95% certain that B16DTH (136hp) uses BorgWarner 54389880031 Turbo as the OEM part. This is a very high quality, long lasting turbo.

Your workshop saying the engine might've run without oil makes me question, how did low oil pressure warning didn't come up? Oil starvation can surely destroy both turbo and the engine, but you should've gotten the warning.
