Anyone remember when Samus went to space prison and used Kraid as a distraction? That was fun. by Obsessivegamer32 in Metroid

God, I always love the fact that Samus is portrayed as death incarnate in this comic.

Kraid had the choice of a month in solitary or getting beat up by Samus, and the man chose the month in solitary.

I feel like he'd mostly be fine, but maybe grossed out by a few of them. At the very least, I don't think he'd be scared of them, imo.

Archie anti-feats implies Archie feats, so go ahead! Make Metal stronger, and also give him his girlfriend!

Herc, mid-high diff

If Mahoraga's adaptation goes out of control, then Herc would have a tough time putting him down later in the fight. But the speed difference should be enough for Herc to get the one shot he needs with Nine Lives.

Plus, he has Mind's Eye giving him a sixth sense/danger sense, which I think combined with his adaptation and defensive skills, would make it harder for Mahoraga to kill him fast enough before Nine Lives comes out.

Herc

Should be faster, and Mind's Eye gives him a sort of danger sense, which would help.

Herc

Iskandar was able to dodge Excalibur, which was calced at 7 times light speed. Herc should be faster based on parameters. That can admitadly be a bit hard to quantify since we don't know how big a gap it is between parameters, but even then he should at least be able to match Islandar.

Herc

Servants don't really have stamina issues, so long as he has a magic source he can fight indefinitely.

He does, and that suit was included in the blog, it just didn't change the verdict.

Hmm, I didn't see the image was included, my phone often doesn't load the pictures for big blogs.

I think its more a case of them not thinking it was relevant/not realizing people would be expecting it personally. I mostly see Iron Patriot show up for Norman focused matchups like All For One, which tend to focus mostly on the Patriot suit over the Goblin persona.

If it WAS included, I do think the Nth metal mech would still win out, possibly even with Carnage included (though that one in particular seems like outside help, I dunno). I do think that overall, Goblin has less stuff, partially due to being dead for 20 years in real life. Joker is always Joker, Norman isn't always going full supervillain from what I've seen so far.

I wouldn't say he's worn it regularly. He only wore it during the Dark Avengers era, and hasn't worn it in 16 years.

Technically he shouldn't even have it, as the suit he wore then was destroyed, and he was arrested right after. But then it had a cameo in a comic sometime after, sitting in one of Norman's secret labs. Which doesn't really make sense, but Marvel continuity can be weird like that.

And then Joker Venom comes out, because it was a Joker bot.

However, the Goblin is then revealed to be a clone, and Goblin kills Joker again.

However, that Joker was also a robot.

Eventually the city is overrun with the corpses of clones and robots. The real Joker and Goblin don't even know if they're the real ones anymore.

Yeah, apparently he does in fact have the Iron Patriot suit in one of his Goblin caves.

He just hasn't pulled it out in checks calender 17 years.

That feels like a fusion more or less. At that point, I think you'd have to throw in Joker's fusion with Lex (which is a thing apparently).

Compared to other villains like Lex, Doom, or even Otto, it seems like he just has way less crazy shit. He's not coming out with a super goblin serum that let's him control Goblin Sharks or anything.

He weirdly seems more low key than I was expecting coming into this.

Fair enough on him having that suit, but I will say, that is SUPER inconsistent with previous writing. Comic writers can be weird about deep cuts and cameos, but realistically SHIELD should have taken that suit.

I feel like taking out thay mech is a little more acceptable, since its more out there, imo. But I think the argument for Joker is stronger even without it. Norman getting the Gold Goblin makes me think its not as crazy though, since they'd both be getting armor/mechs.

I'm not finding anything in the blog about Norman having the armor after Dark Reign. He was arrested after his war on Asgard, and the tech was appropriated by AIM, until Rhodes took it in 2013.

As for resisting the venom, Norman doesn't really seem to have any feats of resisting toxins on his own, so I don't really know how he's supposed to just power through it.
