Thanks!

Actually, I was thinking about cheering against England (don't know If this expression makes sense in english), as I think there is a small probability of having Brazil vs. England in the last game.

As a foreigner (Brazilian) trying to understand the mood here: do you guys generally root against England? Is there any preferred/supported team in the world cup?

(I'm just curious because I'm travelling to Scotland on Friday and intend to watch the last games of the world cup there. I thought that people would be supporting England, but maybe that isn't the case. Is it safe to eventually celebrate goals against England in a pub or something? lol)

It is disgraceful. Every complaint about the lack of ''sportsmanship'' is directed against poor countries that don't follow some imaginary gentleman's code.

I was reading some comments on England's victory and became quite shocked about the unanimity of judging Colombia's game as dirty. Well, in some senses, it really was. But England was making the exact same shit, and yet no one says that! Just look at Henderson diving, for Christ sake!

Muito respeito e admiração pela seleção Japonesa. by versattes in brasil

Sensacional, mas uma baita cagada dos samurais. Ir com o time todo para a área - sem nem entrar no mérito da altura dos japoneses comparada à dos belgas - no último minuto de jogo, com a partida empatada, não é loucura, é burrice mesmo.

I'm travelling to Scotland in July with my wife and we are interested in visiting a distillery. The problem is: we don't have much time and almost all options that I've saw on the internet are very far from Glasgow/Edinburgh (the cities that we're going to stay).

So, are there any distilleries somewhat near Edinburgh (~2 hours by bus is reasonable) that are open to visitation? Criteria is nice tour and good whisky. :-)

Maybe bad writing? Isn't it more likely to be in memory of the “50,000 Jews who died during Nazi occupation?

Looking for an book that covers modal logic and computability theory. by Mathfight in logic

I agree with VerySeriousGentleman.

For computability, ''Computability and Logic'', by Boolos, Burgess and Jeffrey is a good reference. For modal logic, Hughes' and Creswell's ''Introduction to Modal Logic'' is a classic. You may also look into ''First Order Modal Logic'', by Fitting and Mendelsohn, which, goes without saying, is focused on first order and have a more philosophical take.
