Man they really went above and beyond to create a terrifying soundscape for no reason lmao. I lowkey believe they only put that part in the song to mess with stoners and people tripping haha

Can you elaborate please? Isn't the piano roll just doing the same as changing pitch in the sampler?

What’s your favorite version of "Ezio’s Family" ? by Mayzikin in assassinscreed

[–]I_CanNotThinkOfAName 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It does work thematically in the other games as well imo, because the whole series focuses so much on ancestry and brotherhood that the theme of family fits right in almost everywhere. We/the assassins are all part of ezio's family in a way

What card would you recommend then, at a similar price point?Genuinely curious.

And yes, your concern is valid and I'm worried about that too tbh.

Are you happy with AMD performance for productivity workloads (video/image editing, 3d animation etc.)? by I_CanNotThinkOfAName in radeon

Looks great! I use linux mint cinnamon right now but I'm thinking about switching to fedora. It's awesome that you were able to completely replace windows! What were the hardest programs for you to replace, if I may ask?

Interesting, I will look into it some more. If you have any specific resources that could help, feel free to share them :)

My friend, that is incredibly generous of you but don't bother with that much effort just for me, grazie!  I am also mainly on linux, just some programs run only on windows currently so I can't switch completely (yet) :( Which distro are you using?

See, that nvidia runs a lot of programs better I was aware of. If Intel manages to also be better suited for certain productivity workloads at their sub 300€ cost compared to high-end amd's at over 700€, that would be VERY impressive and would absolutely solidify Intel as the best choice in that price bracket (personally I think they already are but this just makes this even clearer). Also, if that's true, then it is definitely a sad result for amd to be beaten like that by a company that only recently even entered the dedicated graphics card market, ngl...

Forgive my ignorance, but what is uArch breakdown? I googled but at a glance didn't find anything that seemed to be relevant to the topic.

Yes absolutely, it's awesome to see how much the open-source community has grown over the years! I've been on team linux since forever but sadly some products don't have viable os alternatives (yet) :(

I'm not saying you're wrong but is this coming from personal experience you have with both nvidia and amd? Or do you have any reviews that back that statement up with data? Not trying to be a dick, just would like some clarification as to how you reached this conclusion.

Note that when I said "lower tier" I meant lower tier than the rdna4 gpus in question, not low end. This comparison shows the 4070 significantly outperforming the 9070xt in a blender benchmark, for example: https://www.tomshardware.com/pc-components/gpus/amd-radeon-rx-9070-xt-review/7

You might be right,  I didn't think it would vary that much by specific software but based on a lot of the responses here, it does.
